Suck. Plain and simple. I'm not taking away anything from the Patriots. It was an amazing comeback. But the OT rules should and probably will be changed soon.

Instead of looking at OT rules maybe look at why a team loses a game after being up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter

Irrelivent. OT rules suck. What happened in the 3rd quarter has nothing to do with the rules being stupid.

At some point you need to go to sudden death, but you could have a tie-breaking 5-minute period first, and a second if needed, and then go to sudden death. (More ads and money that way, too. You listening, NFL?)

The fact that a scenario exists in which one of the teams will never possess the ball is ridiculous. The NFL MVP never stepped on the field in OT. How can people see nothing wrong with that?

I don't like the rules the way they are. Especially in the SB. Teams played an entire season and lose because they don't even get to touch the ball.

Legit question: In the playoffs, there can be no ties...so why do they even bother having a game clock? All you need is the play clock and just alternate possession accordingly

I'd be in favor of altering the rule for the Super Bowl so that each team gets a possession. You shouldn't give one team an advantage over the other in the Super Bowl OT simply because of a coin toss. It would give the fans more entertainment value, too. When the Pats won the coin toss, it was easy to see that their chance of ending the game with a TD were high because the Falcons were gassed and hadn't stopped them the last two drives.

Exactly. Essentially a coin toss decided a super bowl. Had Atlanta won the toss and marched down the field I'd feel the same way. It is a flawed system.

Do you agree with a potential "5th quarter" for overtime? Why don't we do that before we proclaim sudden death?

They aren't going to change the OT rules (again) because one team decided not to play offense or defense for a quarter and a half. That's just dumb.
