Kentucky wide receiver Jeff Badet will play his fifth and final season elsewhere as a graduate transfer, he announced Friday.
Badet has seen his numbers steadily rise over the course of his career, and the redshirt junior posted 31 receptions for 670 yards and four touchdowns this season. He also averaged 21.6 yards per reception, sixth-highest in the nation.
"I appreciate Jeff and the contributions he made to the program during his time here," said Wildcats coach Mark Stoops. "We wish him the best of luck in the future."
A big-play threat, Badet will be one of the more intriguing players available on the transfer market this offseason.
So this guy is gonna Grad transfer and what do you know we need a vet wide out. Bob's brother coaches Kentucky so I'm sure they've had go between talks.
