He won more than he lost in his last stint in the Big 10. (barely)
Yep, that is why he never survived at Michigan State. Of course that was a long time ago.

Why isn't Dick Vermeil being mentioned?

What's that saying with the pot and the kettle?

Yeah, you used that one last week...if you're not going to be funny, you could at least TRY to be clever.

Can't take these type of fans seriously. If the world isn't handed to them in an instant, it's not good enough. Only a fool would think MI was going to topple tOSU in it's first two or three seasons under harbs (or anyone for that matter).
came damn close

I wouldn't put much into this. Word is the original leak came from an Ohio St. website.

Yup. Check out the various articles on this 'story', and one will notice these rumors originate from writer Albert Breer, who is an Ohio State graduate!

Check this out-
Breer's timing on releasing this most likely fabricated story is probably designed to disrupt four potential/expected major recruiting commits for the Wolverines in the coming week....

.... that's right.... four major/coveted recruits are making their school choices over the next few days.... two 5-stars, and two 4-stars... and all four of those recruits are predicted by many folks to most likely choose Michigan. So... I would not be surprised at all if OSU grad Albert Breer is just messing with the heads of these recruits!

Recruiting: Michigan football has chance at massive haul this week

So.... don't put too much stock into this Albert Breer dude.

Now.....

.... if this story was released/corroborated by big time NFL insiders, Chris Mortensen and/or Adam Schefter, then we could put some faith into it... especially if it was from Michigan graduate Adam Schefter. Otherwise, we should simply take this Albert Breer 'story' for what it probably is.... complete fabrication.

You are more then proving you are. Although I'm not obsessed with bama or Saban. I just like to point out when gumps like deep throating their coach. It's cool though, Ohio state fans do it too.
What? He's a great coach :noidea:

Like I said in a later post, even if we had won that one game, we in no way have conquered tOSU. That takes time, and it's unrealistic and arrogant to think Harbs was just gonna come in here and take over the B1G in one or two seasons. I really think next year is the year MI truly looks like a top 5 team. Let's be honest, we were a top 10 team at best, overrated by the pollsters in order to hype up tOSU vs. MI. Think about it. We were 3, lost to Iowa, stayed at 3??? Then lose in DOT to the now 3rd ranked team in the nation but we drop to 6th? How does that work? We never deserved to be 3 to begin with.

After losing as much talent as UofM is expected to NFL?

Given how much tOSU lost last year, and what UofM had, this was a big opportunity for Michigan. They blew it, by the way.
