I think he led Team Canada as far as +/- was concerned, puck and as we know, the IIHF is a little funny when it comes to awards and evaluation.

Alright everyone. dash and I are heading to an auction in dubai.

What People Are Doing With Their High-End Cars In Dubai Seems Completely Insane
a very wealthy friend of mine told me that in Greece the tax authority can now audit your income if you have a display of wealth (major problem with Greek economy is no one reports income or pays tax).
When that rule came into place, you could pick up a used Cayenne for about 10k Euros b/c everyone was afraid to be seen driving them.

False. I have been told by my brother in law that the big problem with America is everyone is suffering tyranny in the form of paying taxes.

I think the Iron Lady (RIP) said it best:

The biggest problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

If VW can pay me the god damn settlement on my TDI before they go releasing new models that'd be very nice.

is it true that vw diesel owners will have up to 2 years to accept the buyback option ... and the buyback price will be the value of the vehicle at the time the whole fraud story broke????

They settled in the States for something that sounds like that. Either buyback or $10k I think was the deal.

Not sure what's taking so damn long up here. Maybe Trudeau is trying to negotiate a better deal for us and the Germans need breaks every three minutes because they can't hold in their laughter any longer.

I don't know what the "deal" was precisely other than VW has completely stopped selling Diesels in the US.

Meanwhile, the EPA hasn't done shit about the 2 million tractor trailers and trains belching out diesel fumes 24/7.

But we are safe from a few Golfs and Jettas.

Get Mr. Burns on the case, BBB.

but all those industrial diesel engines use that DEF additive (pig piss) right? Im not a car guy by any means but I kind of had this eureaka moment when i was talking about it with family on the weekend. Where i work, we have industrial diesel vehicles that utilize DEF and it never occurred to me these VW diesel passenger vehicle engines should probably have this for their exhaust system ... or that they didnt

The revelation of this emissions subterfuge answers at least two questions about VW's mighty little diesel. The first concerns urea injection, which every other modern diesel uses to pass emissions tests. The urea-injection systems help to neutralize NOx emissions, but they also add weight and cost to the car, and saddle car buyers with yet another tank of liquid that must be monitored. If you run out of this diesel exhaust fluid, it's like running out of fuel—on trucks with such systems, running dry on urea triggers a severe limp-home mode with a 5 mph speed limiter. That's how seriously the EPA takes NOx.

Everyone wondered how VW met emissions standards while foregoing urea injection. As it turns out, they didn't. It wasn't magical German engineering. Just plain old fraud.
