The payout will be as follows.

Champion = $3,000
Runner-Up = $1,500
3rd Place = $500

Not sure about payouts until we know more about the new Hoop Cash.

On The Clock : You have two hours to make your pick during the week and three hours on weekends.

Your time starts when the pick ahead of you has been posted. We do ask you not take the entire two hours.

A good way to not have your pick skipped is to leave a list.

NFL scoring
10 - 12 pts for amazing player
7 - 9 pts for very good player
5 - 8 pts for average player
1 - 4 pts for below average player
1 - 15 pts for overall offense
1 - 15 pts for overall defense
1 - 20 pts for team philosophy

Total points in the rankings will be used as the tie-breaker.

Can it be 2hrs from the time the guy was PM'd he is OTC? Some people don't check in until they receive a email saying they have a PM notifying them that they are OTC.

I am not always on the internet - is there a time when this starts and is there a way to know ahead of time when to plan for this?

I was thinking of how we could improve scoring. I think if we specify all players graded on a one game or one series playoff, at their peak, Bo Jackson might outrank Emmitt Smith. If it's career, obvious mismatch for Smith. How about it sometimes we graded on one game/series, and other times we specify the team that would win the most championships if we drafted all these guys as rookies and kept them 10 years.

I don't like grading on one game because why would anything other than skill players matter. Even Johnny Dillweed had a great game at left guard in 1974 so he's as valuable as Larry Allen for one game? Nah...

In baseball, despite my dislike towards the WAR stat, I actually like the WAR7 and JAWS stats that baseball reference uses... I don't like the calculation of WAR, but I love the combination of Best seasons with career... And I used it a lot in the 27-57-87 draft... Very helpful stat...

Starting with the NBA Bucket draft we will be required to give a score when we vote on a game and give a brief explanation of why we voted the way we did, the teams will have then a chance to rebut the score or explanation. Only one rebut per vote.

Shouldn't we also have to say who we think will win or whose score is which? Just predicting the score doesn't solve anything. I predict the score to be 78-74 Who wins no one knows. I voted that way because 78 points beats 74 points.

Nos I am busting your balls :D Thanks for listening to suggestions and using Milks idea.

Yes 10,000 but I like
1. $6,000
2. $3,000
3. $1,000

I like the winner getting more, $1,000 for 3rd place is fine.

Ok. That's not how I explained it to Fordman when I got it up to $10k but it shouldn't matter $10k is $10k.

Agreed, being he already paid it out he obviously didn't have an issue.
