I wouldn't mind beating an undefeated Clemson in the ACCCG

If we win by 4, I'll take it. if we make it to the ACCCG, I'll take that as well. But I will not accept an ass cuttin' at the hands of the Hokies.

If we make it to the CG, I'll be ecstatic win or lose. A couple years ahead of schedule and will bode well for recruiting and the future. I'm still too 'gun shy' from the previous decade to think that far ahead, as we've still got some games we could easily drop (ala Syracuse), but we're now bowl eligible in our 8th game which is a far cry to the last several years coming down to the final game or so.

God, do I know that feeling and DO NOT miss it one bit. Every year under Tommy Bowden was like that.
It's a great feeling to know there's some stability with our program now.

I think our program is stable with an upward trend. That is until other schools come calling for Fuente. However, from what I've read/seen, he feels VT is a great fit and has turned down bigger paydays for the stability and family atmosphere in Blacksburg. There are a lot of big name programs looking for a new coach this year though, so you never know. I just don't see him being the guy that will uproot his family and coaching staff so soon just for chasing a larger check when he is currently in a great situation with a history of support.

I've been there since 11 am. Had an after lunch for my son's last soccer game (3-5 year old) and brought a case of Seirra Nevada Torpedo to share with the other dads. Then took a break so I could take the kiddos to trunk or treat a few hours ago, but have since gotten into the bourbon once I got back.

I'll pace myself since I may have a chance at getting lucky. Woohoo

yea, the boy had a baseball tourney today. I didn't get home until after 4 and had several things to get done before game time. Just getting settled in.
