I dont buy the "Big 12 offenses" nonsense. It is true that it is an offensive conference. You will play some very good offenses. That will leave a mark every once and awhile. You cant tell me that is the case every damn game. Like you say, I see missed tackles and blown coverages consistently.

100% agree. If Oklahoma and Texas don't get their act together quickly we might look like two bums trying to catch a train if we want out of the conference.

Crazy. Charlies been waiting for the offense to come along since getting there, now he has it, and the defense has taken major steps back.

Funny thing is, he fielded the best defense in the Big 12 in his 1st year at Texas and top 30 overall using Mack's players. He's fielded dogshit defenses ever since using his own recruits, but according to the pundits, Mack left the cupboard bare and left Strong shit talent as to the reason why this program sucks ass....

You know Switzer had some hellacious offenses but he also had some shut down defenses, even when everyone was running the wishbone/triple option. Stoops has never had defense that compares to some of Barry's (or Bud's).

I think if you think about that you will understand the failure in your logic. Ask yourself why sophomores and freshmen are starting, than you may understand why people have said Mack left a train wreck
