The villain gets another RBI. Way too comfortable in the box.

Good news?

Now I don't have to wait for Cage until after the game. I can get started at exactly 9:00 when it drops...

Again, why bother pitching to him? A walk is a win against him every time. (Of course, Dahl's double would still most likely make it 2-0, but maybe its 1-0 with Arenado stranded on 3rd).

Giants already in what seems like a big hole.

Should have paid more attention, Dahl tripled. The point still stands about Arenado. Don't give him anything to hit . . . ever.

A base hit creates more momentum than a walk, especially of the unintentional intentional variety.

If this team didn't suck so bad, that DP would really bother me, because that is one of those "good" DPs. But with the way this team is (not) hitting, I still find myself rolling my eyes and shaking my head.

Lead-off walk and then nothing, typical. Also, STL just won on a walk-off.

Sigh. With the offseason coming up in 4 days, I pose this question: Would it been easier to swallow this season if the team tanked in the first half or made it just more prolonged agony? Actually, I pose two questions. The second is: Would the Giants really sold off some of their players at the trading deadline if they were this awful in the first half? A third question: If so, who do you think they would have/could have traded?

Hey, still plenty of time left in this game for the offense.
