Just lost another 2018 commit today, 3 in a few days. Not great, but meh. It's recruiting. It's odd that it all happened in a span of a few days but kids come and go all the time throughout the recruiting season; especially if they're lower ranked and then start picking up offers. Michigan will still have a great class, though I did enjoy snagging a kid right out of the heart of Georgia.

It is pretty silly to send a thank you card with a misspelled name on it....but most people would get that and think some intern just had a typo. Other than saying, "Hey, can we send out some thank you letters" I don't think Harbaugh had anything to do with it.
Sure, but it's a simple mistake. A former player tweeted this out yesterday from Wisconsin back in the 90's when they were recruiting him:
Again, probably just a clerical error. They probably had a list of kids they expected, already had this set up to send them thank you letters and not sending this kid a letter was just missed, and double bad because they spelled his name wrong. I'm not saying it's wasn't stupid that this wasn't caught by someone, but it's pretty silly to be that upset about in the long run. That's like going to a school because they have a basketball player on the uniform, that would be a dumb way to choose a college.
