The closing argument was weird.

I don't get it.

I'm curious what Mike is gonna do. Since we know he's not giving up Harvey.

I can't see Mike going to jail for 2 years. That basically ends the show. Or at least effectively ends the show and it becomes more like every other legal show out there (bad).

And for the record, I would do truly terrible things to Meghan Markle. Her outfits for the show are def not flattering though.

Tonight is judgment night....

The more I think about it, the only way this makes sense is if Mike turns himself in.

But that would run totally contradictory to what he learned from his "client."

I doubt it's Louis cause they do have a bizarre respect and love for the law. And there was him almost joining team Litt.

Which leaves...Jessica. Who never liked Mike. Hates that he's in the firm. And wants him gone anyway. He sells her out, he misses prison, Harvey doesn't get hurt and the show doesn't collapse on itself as it would if Harvey or Mike went to jail.

I am guessing he will be a elevated after 8 months, so the season premiere will be him getting out and becoming the secretary at Pearson and Sons.

They can't write him back as a lawyer, so the best he can do is be a paralegal, right? Can a felon actually be a paralegal?

This is likely the case. They have really written themselves into a MAJOR show-shift if there is not a last-second hail-mary.

I suspect that it will turn out that Gibbs knew the verdict somehow, and that will nullify the agreement. PS&L will still be decimated, but they will promote Mike to partner (not NAMED partner) and there will be a new focus on Jessica dealing with the fact that she is no longer the leader of a MAJOR Wall Street firm.

The story choices the writers have made have really put them in a tough spot. I respect that they have made the hard decisions to give real repricussions to the actions of the characters, but the show is now sooo different from what has made it successful that it will be interesting to see how it progresses.

The whole swerve in last night's episode, though, was a bit . Mike is supposed to be smart. Why trust this inmate after just an hour or two of chit-chat?

Mike hasn't been smart for like 3 seasons. Even then, he's book smart. Not street smart. He also was a bit too mouthy for being in PRISON.
