OK doug. It seems you are saying "Fire Ausmus" and laying pitching problems on his shoulders. But the slumping offense? You did not say if that was Assmouse's fault or not?

OK...Ausmus out! Who do you see coming in to manage Detroit to the AL Central crown? Or can anyone do it?

(BTW...no suggestions on deadline pickups for Detroit? Nor suggestion for new manager? Sounds like you are just one of those armchair complainers. Bitch, bitch, bitch...but no solutions.)

That was when the Lions last won a championship. In other words, forever ago.

And yes blame miggy. How dare he have a off season. First one in his career. How dare him. V mart struggling ....blame avila for that signing of upton. Nobody wanted him but avila

Is it an offseason or is it the downward spiral of his career? He is older than dirt and has been 'roiding for years. That shit has to catch up.

In all seriousness though.. the Indians offense is going to be total shit... Seriously.. Napoli would have been a nice add about 5 years ago... Davis is a decent bench guy... The #5-#9 hitters are total turds.

Seriously... The indians lineup is so shitty they better hope their starters come out strong... They are going to be lucky to score 3 runs a game.

I guess the additions of a 35 year old Davis and Napoli are going to propel the Indians into the top 10 in runs scored.

Where are the Tigers on that list?

@MiamiVice and I had a 1-month Avi bet. He said that V-Mart would have a better batting average than everyone on the Indians.

Martinez is having a good season and I like him, so I'm not shitting on him, but Lindor, Naquin and Chisenhall all have higher BAs, and Ramirez and Kipnis are right behind him. V-Mart's got a .236 BA since the end of May.

As of 7/22, the Indians' run differential sits at +95.

Putting that into perspective, the Royals' run differential at the end of the 2015 season was +83.

In 5 of 6 divisions, the run differential leader also leads the division. Then there's the AL West ...

I agree that there's still a lot of baseball left, but still, on July 21st, I'd rather be rooting for the Indians, with the best rotation and a top offense in the AL to date than the Tigers who are eight games back in the loss column and just got dick whipped by the Twins.

I hate to agree with you, but the Indians are looking pretty good right now.

Records aside, Id rather not be rooting for the Indians, EVUH.

I couldn't agree with you more!!!!!

Two.

And you think this is the year?

Given the crapshootidity of the playoffs, who knows. What I do know is that almost 2/3rds into the 2016 season, the Indians have been a fuckload better than the Tigers on both sides of the ball.
