Well Oliver did get 48% of a write in vote for Mayor so about half the people in the town really respect him. I saw it more as these people know who Oliver is and they like him so they are more inclined to listen to him rather than just listening to a random guy talk.

The finale sucked. I did like that the Arrow killed Darhk. Next story. I'm sick of Speedy and her daddy issues. They just welcome him back as if he's not a big reason for the bad shit going down. This is just one of many issues I have with comics/TV/movies. If you simply just killed off people...you wouldn't have said books and shows. I get that but it's frustrating. It is easier to deal with than the back and forth love story shit. I hope that crap is over with with Oliver and Felicity. Team Arrow with Benefits!

The main thing I didn't like about it in S1 was the over-the-top "You Go Girl" attitude. I think I read somewhere (maybe I didn't) that they were planning on toning that down on the CW.

I really think SG was a big part of the reason Flash S2 ended the way it did.

Now they can find some weird excuse that allows them to be on the same earth.

In the article they say that Flash is going to live in its own timeline away from the other shows.

which is patently absurd.

I mean i get not wanting to disrupt your other shows, but it's a terrible answer. Those guys all existed in the same Universe (sans Supergirl) and would clearly be affected by this.

It doesn't need to be as rash as Ollie died instead of his father on the Island (for casting reasons obviously), but lets show some creativity here.

The most obvious change is this gives you a way to get Supergirl into their Universe. And maybe figure out a way for her to stay there.

Yes, and they're supposed to do a 4 part crossover episode with Arrow, Flash, LoT and SG.

How can they do that if Barry is on his own timeline? Every show has to be affected by this.
