Not enough talk about how Houston is limping along. Weren't they supposed to be good this year?

THOR!!!

Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard has 29 strikeouts in 20 innings. That’s the second most K's through three appearances in a season in franchise history, trailing only Pedro Martinez’s 30 in 2005.

Syndergaard is the first major league pitcher since Roger Clemens in 2005 to allow one run or fewer and strike out at least eight batters in each of three starts to begin a season, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Well it would help if the Astros could win a series.

Or even a game against the Rangers.

So the Nats have played the Braves six times, won them all, and the Braves are 4-14.

They've also swept 3 from Minnesota, the Twins are 5-14.

9 of 14 wins against two teams that started the season a combined 0-16.

Yeah, they're going to run away with this division.

Be heartened, I picked the Mariners to beat them tonight, so there's at least one win for you on the horizon

A little surprising, but if you look at that starting staff, outside of Kuechel (who hasnt been good), why should we be so shocked?

Something they have going for them, the Rangers should really be the only team in that division that presents a problem in the AL West race

And AJ Reed is a kid drawing Goldschmidt comps, when they add him in June, they should be able to do a lot of scoring

The Phillies have some promising things going on

But the Braves shouldnt be allowed to do with they are doing, without penalty

Whether its a salary "Floor", or they get thrown out of the league until they can field a ML team

Something has to be done about a team that may win 35 games this season

Not to mention the subpar near sandlot like conditions of that infield and in parts of the outfield...
I mean even some of their own players have complained about it.
