Durant Clearly Best Player In the League

Durant apparently has accepted the "torch" from Kobe. Now that Kobe's 35, old and injured, the time has come to pass the torch as the best player in the game....Sad, but true. Kobe's time has the best has come and gone. Despite the media bias against Kobe, he was clearly the leagues best player, probably even to last year....Kobe had it all: Best player in the game offensively, and defensively. Best competitior. Best clutch player. Did whatever was necessary to win. Hence the 5 rings....Plus Kobe never had to run to a team LOADED WITH Superstars to win, like Lebron did.

Right now, Durant is the man. At age 24 just about to enter his prime, he's the best player in the game. His stats almost across the board are superior to Lebron. Durant simply does everything better than Lebron.

Ft shooter: Clear edge to Durant.
Defensively: Clear edge to Durant

Is there anything Lebron does better? I guess attack the rim because of his physique (which is due to steroids)...Clearly Durant is superior to Lebron in every facet of t he game. Even defensively Durant is much superior. If anything Lebron is still a better passer, but even that is debatable since Lebron has the ball in his hands the entire game and Durant doesn't..

Props to Durant. The new King of the Nba now that Kobe's passed the torch...lets see if Durant can now win rings without a team full of superstars.

thats insane....60 games in a row with 20 or more points....i woudlnt sleep on the Thunder in the playoffs....The Durant/RW combo has to be the best combo in the entire league--- they have a nice stable of shooters and a nice stable of big men.

as the 3 seed they would have to go through - likely anyway- San Antonio, GSW and then Cleveland to win the title...if they do that? they will have EARNED IT!! thats for sure- that has to be one of the hardest roads to a title in NBA history.
