Yeah, Miller's Crossing is the better and more highly rated of those two and if you like that kind of movie it is a must see. The Newton Boys is not great, but it is from the same time period. True story about some bank robbers from that era.

I just want to go on record and say there are two (2) reasons I watched Miller's Crossing:

1. It had Steve Buscemi
2. Cedrique reccomended it

Buscemi had like 2 minutes of screen time, and Ced clearly mixed two movies up. Men's Cocks, while a very well done film, is different than Miller's Crossing. Yes, I know they have the same initials, Ced, but they're just not the same movie. If you watched the real Miller's Crossing you'd be just as bored as I was

The Martian. 3/5 stars. Matt Damon plays a better Tom Hanks in this deserted area movie, but overall the plot was just average. Also, they needed way more Michael Pena

Whiplash- 2.5/5 stars. The premise that you have to be a total asshole to get the most out of people just doesn't hold true for me. And way too much of the movie was spent on just a dude drumming real fast. But if you're looking for a movie where J. Jonah Jameson just yells clever, whitty, and vulgar insults at college students, this movie is for you.

Black Mass 4/5 Stars. It was good but pretty predictable. Maybe I've just watched too many of this same kind of movie but you can see all of "hits" coming way before they happen. Also, I guess this is the story that that Showtime series "Brotherhood" is based on?

Best Picture, Spotlight. 5/5. How the Globe finally exposed the priests and catholic church ruling class who covered up hundreds of ordained priest pedos in the Boston area alone. Excellent acting by Ruffalo, Keaton, McAdams, Tucci to name a few.
