Not close. No need for an analysis.

My only complaint about this bracket was Fisk. It would have been interesting to see how far he could have gone if he didn't get the short end of the screw-job against Berra.

Let it go. 15 years from now if Buster Posey has the exact same numbers as Yogi you'll not only be saying he was better than Fisk, you'll be outraged that no one has considered him for Sainthood.

:DJust kidding. There's no way this internet fad will still be going on in 15 years......

There's really zero mystery to this though. He would have gone exactly one round further.

I'm going to go with Johnny Bench, Ted Simmons and Carlton Fisk as the greatest C ever.

I don't see why you say this isn't close... Basically it is power/OBP(bench) vs Defense/BA/longevity(pudge)

I do agree that Bench wins, but i could easily make a case for Pudge to win this... This is not even close to as bad as Ted Williams vs Stan Musial...

There is Johnny Bench and there's everyone else.

That's the myth though...

Yes, I will state that Johnny Bench is the G.O.A.T. at Catcher, but it's certainly not a runaway.
