Does it matter if Bama or Michigan State had the tougher schedule if Bama obliterated the Spartans in the playoffs?

It does, because tOSU and Mich had to play each other. :pound:

Yes, because OSU and MICH play each other, their season ended more difficult than Bama who played and won two games against Top 4 opponents.

Like I said, derp harder.
Jesus, you didn't even fucking pay attention to what I was talking about. The OP was that Bama has such a hard finish to the year if they win the title with Auburn, the SECCCG, and then two playoff games. I pointed out that if OSU/michigan win a title, their close to the season is much harder. They have to face each other, then the B1G CCG, and then two playoff games.

I will give LSU some credit, bc they have NC's. But all the teams slobber, Awburn is the only one that doesn't do it bc Bama is such a big rival. But I have seen Awburn fans do it so, it is what it is.
1. LSU has just one national championship more than Auburn, the same as Florida, Tenn claims 3 more and multiple others have NCs as well so that point is stupid.
2. Bitch you have not seen Auburn fans slobbering over Bama so GTFO with that nonsense.

The BS in you is very strong today.

But swing on the Mich nuts more in a thread that is supposed to be about SEC nutswinging.

tOSU fans are rustled today for some reason. MarkOU got a flat tire, so it's understandable why he is in such a mood.

Hold on. No one forces the B1G to front load all their OCC and you can't bitch about it because that is your choice. tOSU overall schedule is very comparable to just about all the SEC West teams with not much difference so let's not too worked up beating out own chest.

What the hell are you talking about??? Nobody is bitching and I'm not even talking about the front of the schedule. It's a hypothetical, just like you were saying.

Who is nutswinging? I'm pointing out that both michigan and Ohio State are significantly better than Auburn and the SEC East is no better than the B1G West. How are you struggling so hard to figure this out??

Tenn hasn't won one since what 97 or 98. So that point is worthless. So you have Florduh (only reason they have won some recently is bc of Urban, they are dead in the water). LSU does have two, one thanks to Saban.
So you are basically talking about two coaches: Saban and Urban, then you have Auburn with their one NC. Well Urban is gone, so now Saban like he has been is owning the SEC. It's Bama vs everyone else, you can believe what you want but it's been like that for the past 5 to 6 years.

Since the BCS started, Ohio St has 8 conference championships, 2 national titles, 4 national title appearances, 9 BCS/CFP wins, Urban has lost 4 games in his 5 seasons at Ohio St (one bowl banned or they would have been in the NCG), and have the 2nd most players out of any college team drafted to the NFL in the last 20 years (123, 1 behind FSU at 124), and one Heisman Trophy winner. Other than Bama, who is better? Conferences don't mean shit to me, it's all Ohio St.

Get off deeeeeez nuts

You are the only one that is struggling here, sir. "We play michigan late and they are harder than your conference, so we have a harder road".

You wearing a tutu and pink panties as you fret about the SEC?

Let me spell this out so you can understand, as you are still inexplicably confused. The OP said Bama normally has a really hard finish to the season because they face Auburn, the SECCCG and then two potential playoff games. I pointed out that it's hard for OSU/michigan because, for example, if michigan were two win a title they'd have to finish the year with Ohio State, the B1GCCG, and two playoff games. Please tell me you understand because I can't explain it for you any easier than that.

I understand what you are saying. YOu are saying that OSU has a harder road than Bama because Michigan is so damn good. Vice versa for Michigan to win a title.

Nutswing more on Michigan.

Auburn has won one national championship, played in a second, and won two conference championships in the last 5 years and that surpasses what tOSU has accomplished in the same time period. No our accomplishments do not come close to Alabama but they are BETTER than what you have done since 2010.

1983 - 2nd in the country and got screwed by the polls
1993 - Undefeated but ineligible for post season
2004 - Undefeated and got screwed in the polls
2010 - Won it all
2013 - Lost in the last 13 seconds of the championship game

Since 2000 we have won or tied for the SEC West 7 Times and won it outright 3.
Won Heisman in 2010 (3 total for the program)
Listed 13th in Div I for winningest all time programs

We have been getting it done, doing it consistently and any arguments to the contrary are invalid.

No they're not.

Since 2010, we've won at least 12 games in 5/6 years, while Auburn has won 12 or more twice (and those are the only two seasons with double digit wins in these 6 years).

We won a national championship that included wins over #1 and #2 in back to back games, and won two major bowl games outside of the championship year. Auburn has a close NC win over Oregon and that's pretty much it for major bowl wins in that timeframe.

Our championship was far more impressive considering we had to win two games against the top 2 teams in the nation to do it (and looked much more impressive than Auburn in doing so).

Even if you take away our 2010 accomplishments (12 wins, Sugar Bowl win), we still have more wins and more bowl wins in that same timeframe.
