Royals got greedy in the bottom of the 8th, Jays got greedy in the top of the 9th. Royals have Wade Davis, Jays do not.

Yeah, that's what I thought. For some reason the Royals had the infield so far in that if Revere hit it hard they would have scored two runs. But then when they got the break on that call he had a chance to strike him out and he took it.

yeah, it's kind of a gamble though. If you play back you and he hits it hard you have a better chance of getting the out at first and only giving up one run. It worked out though
