I don't give a fuck
If things continue the way they are, I'm pretty sure Joe Philbin doesn't make it through the season. And I'm sure we all knew this was coming. He has shown that he has no control over his players, doesn't know how to utilize the talent he has, etc. I was having this conversation with people before the season. They would tell me how the Dolphins are on the rise and about ready to compete at a higher level. I would've agreed, but I've told everyone that Philbin isn't the man to lead this team to the next level. I would've loved to have Rex Ryan, but of course, the Bills were smart enough to scoop him up quickly.
I know I will probably get crucified for this, but why not go for Rob Ryan? It's pretty well known that he would've gotten a chance by now if he had cut his hair like Rex did. I think the only reason his resume doesn't look as good as Rex's did is because he has always had lesser talent as a DC. Just imagine the games against the Bills. Brother against brother. Would be intense for sure. If not Rob Ryan, I'd definitely like a defensive minded coach this time. What do you guys have in mind?
