Joe Flacco - elite, 2nd tier, or bottom feeder?

Small sampling to date, but the poll kinda reflects the truth so far. I don't like the term elite, because it seems to have a varied definition...but whatever it means, consistency has to be part of it and Joe is not that.

He's something less than elite, but 2 rings is more than Brees who generally get accepted in the elite category because his stats are so lofty yr in yr out...I think I would take Joe over Drew actually.

he had a rating over 90, twice...in 7 years (high is 93.6 in 2010, which is "ok"). for his career? 84.8. for comparions sake, matt cassel is 80.4.

never led the league in a single stat

it is what it is folks. hes a guy who sometimes turns it on when he DOES get to the playoffs, but if he were better in the reg season he may get home field and have more success.
