Werth has been on the DL since the 19th, CT scan showed two fractures in his wrist. He will likely be out until August.

Nationals fans just yawned.

So freaking tired of CC.

Our pen sucks excluding Betances & Miller.

Warren as solid as he been as a starter must go to the pen to be our 7th inning guy when Nova returns

I could not believe the length of the injury for what seem like a minor injury. It said 2 small fractures on MLB network

He must not be able to swing a bat. They haven't exactly missed him, I think they'll be fine.

Any second now Rock will be here saying they should trade with Boston for one of those totally awesome Pawtucket guise

I'm assuming the Nats have the old Red Sox or Mets medical squad.

If Prince Fielder can't have nachos, no one can.

Not that you shouldn't be sick of him, but CC always sucks in Oakland. He's got an issue with "pressure" situations. Look at his overall playoff performance, and his starts (prior to becoming a Yankee) at Yankee Stadium, and The Coliseum. They suck.

Before you ask, Oakland is "pressure" for him because that's his hometown.

Tell you what, next time they win, I'll send you a PM after the game and that way you'll remember when you start the daily thread.

Where will Ryan Howard end up? Every year the trade deadline is one of the highlights of the season for me. The Phillies are gonna get purged. The only one left standing will be Ruben Amaro and he'll have both middle fingers up, blaming the fans.

Didn't everybody say that last year, though, and only Rollins got moved?

Well, in particular, Ryan Howard is a lot more movable now than he was then. The man would be very wise to stay hot.

As long as he leaves the NL East.

He'll probably hit the Junior Circuit (i.e., "the Yankees")
