Edmonton's only 11 back of the Leafs and they play each other Saturday. If all goes according to plan, the Leafs can be in 26th place by that game. McDavid/Eichel isn't sounding as far fetched as I thought it did just a week ago.

It's a litte early for the annual late season surge by the Oil (usually occurs in March), but I for one would love it if they win enough games to take them out of the top 5 (or bottom 5).

With Toronto's (and Buffalo's) luck, the Leafs will finish 29th (good luck "catching" Buffalo), but Edmonton will win the draft lottery from 28th.

I think Buffalo has maybe 4 wins left in them this season, including one home to the Leafs on April 1 (and maybe a second in Toronto in early March, lord willing).

I will seriously be pissed if Edmonton gets McDavid. Like Dash said, hope they get as high as 26th and wind up with a winger.

Kings need to get back on track and get a win tonight - they've only had two winning streaks of two or more games since the beginning of December and they were both two game win streaks in December, they haven't had a win streak of more than two games since before Christmas so they desperately need to get on a roll now
