Nick Young is apparently playing through some health issues, he's been straight garbage for the past 7 games. He is better than JR when he's playing well though.

That is a career high for Kobe. The issue is that Price is basically worthless on offense when he's not hitting his shot and Lin is worthless on defense. Kobe is a better playmaker than both of them, even in his 19th season.

LeBron was shooting extremely bad early on, he hit those few 3's in a row that saved his numbers.

I've covered a lot of the Kobe-LeBron games over the years. This is one of the best.

a very fun and entertaining game. It was a lot of fun to watch Kobe and LeBron go head to head there at the end- 19 pts and 16 assists on 50% shooting from Kobe is damn impressive

LeBron looks like his old self after taking that time off 35 pts , 5 assists, 5 boards....

great game...

I had not watched the Lakers yet this year- and I gotta give Kobe credit- the ole guy can still bring it

lol, better than JR Smith? based on what exactly? JR Smith is basically just a better version of Nick Young

everyone knows the Browns have not been to a super bowl- if the Chiefs moved in- i dont think anyone would all ofa sudden say- yah they did - they did it the 2nd year the super bowl existed....

its a very intriguing situation and i can see and respect arguments on both sides- and as a soon-to-be attorney- those type of gray arguments are interesting to analyze

If you are a Chiefs fan, why wouldn't you claim the titles your team won?

Jordan hill looked like freaking Chris Bosh hitting all those 18 footers tonight.....man

thats why its so dangerous to give up on a high lotto pick....when you draft these guys they are 19, 20 years old- sometimes it just takes time to develop....

Hill really turned around his career and is a solid center. Gotta give that kid a lot of credit.

I totally respect that you have the right to your opinion....as a budding attorney what i have learned is that its a rare situation that is white or black.

Lol thanks, but its it's not an opinion, it's a fact that the Browns/Ravens and Lakers situations are different.

I root for my local teams. If a team moved in from out of town to my city- i could not rightly claim any titles and take pride in any that they won before they came in- but it would definitely be true that the franchise won those titles- that is just me- and i leave everyone to their own opinion and see valid arguments on both sides

You haven't even watched the Lakers all year and you're a Cavs homer, forgive me if I dismiss your opinion.

and on a normal year when the Lakers are relevant i would have watched them at least a few times- especially since they are on national tv a lot.

the Lakers being irrelevant this year definitely plays in to my not watching them- but some previous years - especially when the Cavs and the Lakers had chances to meet in the Finals i watched a bunch of Lakers games-

as you can understand- for people that are not lakers fans there is not much point to watching them this year besides when tthey play your team

thats really good for you guys having Hill under contract next year for 9 million. its really nice to have a solid center already wrapped up for next year- especially since he keeps improving- and thats a pretty good cap number.

Gotta love the Fakers fans. Most of them couldn't find Minneapolis on a map, but they will pretend that the REAL Laker championships belong to them. You know, cuz there's a lot of lakes in Los Angeles :noidea:

17 > 11.........................even if you use common core math.

Still bitter over ancient history I see:pound::pound:

serious question -as a LA Lakers fan do you guys claim those Minnesota titles? As a Cleveland fan my experience in the matter is not exactly thorough.

Just for the record ding dong, those trophies are here in Los Angeles, Ca in a locked trophy case at the Staples center:pound::pound:

Serious though, since you're too stupid to figure it out, Lakers fans loves the organization because the Lakers won a combined total of 16 champions and yes some of them was in your beloved hell hole also known as Minnieapolis:lol:

Yah if you read my comments- you would have seen that I know that the championships are inthe trophy case in the Staples center.

My question is- do you guys take as LA fans claim those?

-I mean- if you want- which im sure you dont- you can go back and see the arguments- but my main one is

say when the Browns moved out- do the Baltimore fans really feel pride over the championships the Browns won with Jim Brown and Otto Graham and Paul Brown when the team was in Cleveland?

if say for arguments sake- the Chiefs were moved from KC to Cleveland to replace the Browns- I certainly would not take pride in the championship the Chiefs won in the 2nd super bowl- its not like there was a parade in downtown Cleveland-its not like i rooted for that team- in fact- there would actually be a decent chance since it was against the Packers i would have rooted AGAINST them- it wouldnt change the fact for me that I had never seen my hometeam win a super bowl- how could i possibly take pride in that?

but on the other hand- like you said- there is definitely a trophy in the trophy case of that franchise and they did win that title...

its an interesting argument and i can see good arguments on both sides.

I remember when it meant something and was a big accomplishment to beat the Lakers in LA. Now its just another game that your supposed to win.

I guess I can understand why you have a little pent up frustration TLF.

Mozgov did not light up the box score by any stretch- but in 23 minutes he got 10 rebounds- ran the floor moderately well- and played some decent D....not too bad...Jr started out hot but went cold down the stretch- but still contributed 14 points.

I hope Shumpert can get back healthy soon- I want to see what he can do defensively- plus- i want to see his ability to run the court and finish...that could be a big factor when you have a passer like Love- and a guy like Kyrie pushing it....If Shumpert can play some D, runthefloor, and hit a corner 3 here and there that would be a nice pickup...

time will tell...just nice to be back in the win column

and its always fun to watch Kobe and LeBron go at it down the stretch- Kobe with 17 assists at his age is truly amazing.

Fun game to watch

off to bed...
