I am just now figuring out what they mean.

I think the cfb fanbases bitching was countered by CFB, but it ultimately led to way more bitching.

1 Fluidity in polls, projections and rankings

2 The CFB Playoff with its committee. Which axed the BCS system.

We asked for it, now we got it. Let the rustling commence.

There is gonna be lots of 'fluidity' after this next weekend, but probably still only in the bottom 15 of the top 25.

How do you watch the FSU vs NC State game and actually think they are better than the week before? If I'm a voter I'm dropping them in my poll especially with Notre Dame on their schedule.

I am fluid. Much of the time I agree with the term.

Does that make me an ESPN clone?

ND in the playoffs = first round bye for their opponent...because the Notre Dame D is fluid.

We'll know a lot more by Sunday

These guys wont know jack shit until the committee releases their picks.

A randomly selected SportsHoopla committee would prove to be just as accurate as these guys making the big bucks spewing out biased propaganda.

Well it seems the people voting understand what FSU had on Saturday. Let's look at this most important stat. The most experienced player on the FSU D Saturday is a TRUE SOPHOMORE! Best defender was not on the field. They played a lot of freshman due to depth issues on the DL.

It is as always a part of the game, but you cannot expect a team that loses the 4 leaders on defense to be the same as the previous year. Especially as dominant as they were AND considering they are being replaced by sophomores. Now are they #1? Nope, but to state Saturday is a referendum considering what you probably did not know is a little premature.

Let them get Edwards back(he is back today from his concussion), Eligwe who was supposed to be the starting OLB before his Lisfranc injury, and THomas who was supposed to be the starting ILB. I am optimistic that they will get better on D even with ND on the schedule.

As Mamba said. Every year and every team is a FLUID situation.

That's a bunch of excuses no matter what the circumstances FSU should blow NC State off the field. Auburn beat La Tech by 28 points and lost their two starting inside Linebackers and a starting tackle but I'm still pissed they didn't cover the 33 points and played like (IMO) crap.

At the level FSU and Auburn are there are no excuses you are expected to have the depth and experience to play at a high level regardless. The real truth is I don't think FSU has played at an acceptable level this year and I have watched parts of the OSU, Clemson and NC State games.

They are not the number 1 team in the country right now by a long shot.
