they were 20th in total offense last year and they were better than at least 5 teams at running the football. That's some impressive shit.
You're right, I am confused. I thought the first page of this thread was dedicated to putting people down for living in the past?

Throw in a key loss at the receiver position
Convenient that calling Emanuel Sanders a "key loss" fits your narrative so well. Or were we talking about the great Jericho Cotchery? Which key did we lose that's a game changer? There is no way that Marcus Wheaten will step into that roll and be as productive or better? Huh. You are better at scouting and player evaluation than NFL front office executives. And yet you spend your time posting here. Weird.

a failure to fire an offensive coordinator that is loathed by the franchise qb
I'm not a fan of Haley but apparently Ben has become one. Why fact check yourself though? Just paint on those whiskers and prance around the kitchen until mom gets you some milk.

a continued trend of ignoring a substandard offensive line
Ever heard of the NFL draft? Yeah? Huh. Well, were you aware that the Steelers have focused on this area pretty specifically in recent years? Bah. Facts are for dogs. Meow.

Wait, what??

My lord, do you even watch or follow the Steelers?

I've heard of the NFL draft. And from my data it appears the Steelers have drafted exactly 1 offensive lineman in the past two drafts. And this was a center (the one position they are good) in the 5th round two years ago. Facts are for dogs, eh? Try again.

You read an article about Ben embracing Haley and now you think it's all better? That's precious.

Emanuel Sanders would be a major loss for any franchise. Big numbers in YPC first few years. Key contributor to your offense. Marcus Wheaton has 6 catches in his entire career! Maybe he'll be the next Brown. Or maybe he'll be the next Limus Sweed. Both of those guys were scouted by the amazing Steelers. The fact is that neither you or I know. But of the two, Sanders is the proven commodity.

Idiot. Troll. Retard. Got it. Can't imagine what you would call me if I followed a team of grown men that dressed up like kitty cats on Sundays but I digress. Impressive display of maturity Bengal-Nation. You've earned your stripes.

I would take Ben/Bell/Brown over Dalton/Bernard/Green and most people would. The offensive line should be a strength this year. Most people who don't paint on stripes for the big weekend agree. It is what it is. I didn't mean to chap your pee-flaps ladies.

Care to back this up?

I can't think of a single talking head or scribe that follows the NFL that would make this comment.

The narrative writes itself. We only look at the past two drafts right? Because developing players is for the birds. Just keep drafting them! Lulz.

You read an article about Ben embracing Haley and now you think it's all better? That's precious.
I'm going off of the way Ben has been working with Haley. Maybe I should go off of a 2 year old op-ed like you though right?

Sanders is a loss. Not a key loss. Unless it fits the narrative of course.

You should stick to name calling. So more your strength.

I'm not sure what you don't understand here.... The Steeler fan claims that they have a better offense than the Bengals and a MUCH better offense than the Ravens.

Clearly this must be true because they were 20th in total offense last year and they were better than at least 5 teams at running the football. That's some impressive shit.

Throw in a key loss at the receiver position, a failure to fire an offensive coordinator that is loathed by the franchise qb, and a continued trend of ignoring a substandard offensive line and I think you have a recipe for a top 3 offense.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume your sarcasm is directed at the Steeler guy and not me, or else, you obviously didn't get my sarcasm.

Care to disprove it?

I can't think of one person that would ever in any way shape or form take Dalton over Ben.

I can't see many taking Bernard over Bell.

Green over Brown, sure.

But as a group? Come on son... you know better.

I would love to see Bridgeburner in a small pen, stuck with a little kitty cat like a Bengal tiger. He would probably piss himself.

The Bengals do have the better OL. Even with my expectation of our unit improving drastically if they can stay healthy, that goes to the Bengals.

I don't know. I think when it comes down to it Ben is that much better than Dalton and that's probably flavoring my opinion. I put a lot of stock into quarterback play and Ben is top 5-10 and Dalton is bottom half. That's a big difference in my book.

The only two positions the Steelers are better at on offense are QB and center, but their center is also a sociopath.

They are uniforms, not costumes.

Every other NFL team gets this.

Just sayin...

Yes, as a group. Give me one source that would take the Steelers offensive group over the Bengals. Just one.

All the data back the Bengals here. It's really not hard.

Sure, you can go back multiple drafts. The fact remains - The players they have drafted have either not been good enough or have not been healthy enough. The only way to address that issue is to increase depth or hope for the best. Given that they have not addressed the depth, they are hoping for the best.

I'm not going off a 2 year old op-ed.... Ben has not performed under Haley like he did under Arians. This isn't a secret. I read that he now gets along with the dude, but talk is cheap.

You should stick to talking about uniforms. It's the only logical point you've made on this board.

I don't think it's hard. Bernard/Bell are a wash. So you are basically saying that Green is THAT much better than Brown to negate the fact that Ben is THAT much better than Dalton. It's silly. You have to know this and feel silly. This is a quarterback league. This is why you haven't done anything in the post season. Ben makes this group better. Dalton makes your group worse. Simple. Easy. You can even count on your fingers.

Meh. I can see your point. I guess. Kind of. Not really though. I'm still right.

Couldn't agree with you more about Arians being the better OC and better fit. But we were talking about their relationship specifically. If you have information that isn't based on some 2 year old op-ed I'd like to see it.

You should stick to talking about uniforms. It's the only logical point you've made on this board.
Oh come on cincy. Dig the sand out of your vagina and lets hug this out.

We can hate the Ravens together. They have purple uniforms lol.

You said everyone agrees. I asked for one source. You failed.

Ben is much better than Dalton - That's a a fact. Nobody disputes it. Nobody disputes the fact that the Bengals haven't won in the postseason because of Dalton. It's a a fair point.

The Steelers offense has not been good the last 2 years. That's a fact, backed up by data.

I could care less about what people say during an interview. Ben hasn't performed as well under Haley as he did under Arians. Arians is a great coach -- Hard to dispute.

Still better than the horrible Bumblebee uniforms the Steelers wear every year
