This is really funny.

This is really funny.
oh man, don't buy the aggie line.
Don't base your opinion on the few people here on SportsHoopla...The Aggie's here are pretty good folk, actually most that I know are. But man, if you buy into their propaganda, just, I don't know, just not right.
Austin, Texas is one of the most laid back, yet pretty well-off, place there is. And that has a lot to do with UT. In Austin, people go to church in nice shorts and sandals...
You can call us T sips, no big deal. But to buy their whole line, hook, sinker and all, is just not right.
And, to think all UT people sat around and let the aggies do all the fightn, that's just bullshit. Our stadium is 'Memorial Stadium'. It has plaques at every entrance, going back to WW1 of UT people who've fought and died for this country.
Hell, our new chancellor, is Admiral Mcraven, who was a seal, and actually the leader of the Seals who got bin laden.
Show me one person who said no one from Texas ever fought in a war. I dare you to compare the number of students A&M sent to war vs Texas though. For obvious reasons that would be a foolish thing to do, but it completely explains the saying and answers the OP question.

Did you serve Fordman? No? STFU then...
you revived this thread just so I could tell you to fuck off? That's odd.
ATM has a great military history that I respect immensely but I can't stand "non-regs" barking about it. It's akin to the "t-shirt sip" putting down ATM as an institution. You don't have room to talk military smack anymore than those t-shirts deserve to talk academic smack. Just sayin' practice what you preach!
It was still on the first page. Not much of a revive...
Gotcha. So when asked about a saying I should say I don't know? I shouldn't give the answer? Then when someone says it is laughable I shouldn't ask why the correct answer is laughable?
Any other stupid ass rules I need to know?
Hook'Em, let him have the last post. Longhorns own the last victory in Football, Baseball and Men's Basketball. The least we can do is let him get the last post. They hated losing to Texas in sports so much that they left the conference and complained when we didn't feel the need to schedule them, even when they knew that would happen. So when someone talks about academics between UT and ATM can people that didn't attend answer if they know the correct answer?

Let the loser have the last post.
You know, I didn't mean to stir up a hornets nest. Truthfully, the remark you made, the one I replied to as "funny", I honestly just glanced at it and thought it was another one of the common remarks we get from Ags about being the soldiers, while we're the pussies/tea drinkers- I did not read it through and let it register. And I feel bad that I caused all the following to take place, which I have just been a reader of...
I was being somewhat sarcastic, and you snapped back. I didn't mean anything by it. But your holier than thou (my perception of it) remark back, kinda pissed me off.
Still I stayed out of the following posts, wishing I hadn't said a fucking thing in response to this fucking thread, and I'd have been happier, none of the above between you and others would not have happened.
So let's just let this thing die, and move on.
