I believe it's short for Tea. Not going to swear to that.i've seen the aggies calling the horns this
what does it mean? where did it come from?
Damn, Aggies. You got a Sooner taking the Longhorn side. Nice work.It is a derogatory term meaning "tea sipper" commonly used by an Aggie toward a UT fan/alum/student while the Aggie is standing there in a dirty bowling shirt and has a net worth of $14. Army boots, thongs or barefoot is the preferred footwear for the Aggie as he goes on to make snide comments about the Longhorn's Polo shirt and recently laundered trousers. Aggie women dress the same as their men so it is difficult to explain their preferred mating rituals.

People who drink tea represent the privileged and the upper class. Compared to the Aggies, who shoveled shit, the Longhorns are the landed gentry of Texas.
I think that "tea sipper" speaks to that unfounded sense of nobility so often displayed by UT fans, doesn't it?
Could be updated to "T-shirter" I guess
Meanwhile, Aggy finally sold all of its home games for the first time in a while in their 1st year in the SEC and FINALLY had over 10K show up for a spring game in 2013 in forever. My favorite Aggy Tshirt quote the past 2 seasons: "Mack Brown recruited JF to play safety; Kevin Sumlin recruited JF to play QB".....

If anyone really cares, it actually dates back to when A&M was a military school and sending entire graduating classes off to fight in wars. Meanwhile Texas students sat back at home sipping their tea.
No one respects someone with 2 favorite cfb teams, oscar. Obama would be ashamed of you.
Grew up in Ohio, so I had to be a Buckeye fan and went to Ohio State. Moved to Texas, looked around, checked out all the teams. Got it down to AM and the Longhorns. Went to see AM in the 1988 Cotton Bowl. That was enough. Hook em horns.
Very true. That's what the gentlemen in an upper class society always do.
^ evidence supporting fordman's conjecture that "tea sipper" might rightly be updated to "tee shirter"!
