Yeah I view it...Pretty sad

I didn't comment though because that's what they want.

They want posters from the Soccer board to comment so they can gang up on us

Exactly. Let them have all that faggotry to themselves.

Fortunately, theirs is a dying breed. Though it seems they'll make a giant point of bitching and moaning on the way to extinction.

Great WC, but a ways to go for US soccer. We were dominated by a very good team.

I've always wondered why so many people hated HD. Now I see why.

On a sports forum that is supposed to discourage trolling, the owner is easily the biggest troll.

I agree. I've soured on him recently for multiple reasons. His being a gigantic asshat on soccer is just one.

If we'd played more of the game like we did the last 15 minutes it may have been different. Belgium deserved the win today. 2018 looks bright and in Jurgen I trust.

It's funny how the mods here are allowed to troll.

Wouldn't be surprised if the mods here are allowed to have multiple accounts also.

I think the future is bright for the US too, but we also have to remember Tim Howard is 35 and this is likely his last world cup. Clint Dempsey is also 31...by 2018 he'll be 35...might also be his last world cup as well

Dempsey and Howard are done. Fortunately, the US is never short on goalkeeper talent, though whoever we have will most definitely not be as good as Howard. Probably the greatest US goal keeper of all time. Dempsey is another matter. No idea who will replace him. Best US field player in history. But Jurgen has been bringing in lots of talent and the future looks bright with some great young players.

Cheers deuce and Timmy. :suds:

It's pathetic. He's really shown his true colors recently.

Yeah I said that for a while. Dempsey still may have a shot to make the WC roster as a reserve. I can easily see him being on the roster in some shape or forum

I'm not worried about Howard being gone because we always seems to have good goalies and Guzan isn't bad at all

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to see Deuce play live so many times in Seattle. Also looking forward to seeing Yedlin blossom in these next few years.

non-soccer fans have left the soccer board, where world cup stuff belongs, pretty much alone.

good to see.

i'm a fan of another world sport that doesn't get a lot of respect from mainstream US sports fans, so i understand why soccer die-hards get sick of seeing their sport trashed.

I admit I was a total bandwagon fan and can hardly tell you who was on the team but I did enjoy the last few games and plan to watch some more MLS stuff.

They played hard and lost. Nothing to be ashamed of and they made it much farther than was predicted against the best teams in the world.

Good shit IMO

Yeah man we gave it our all. Scored a quick goal in the 2nd period of ET which gave us a legit shot to tie it. It wasn't like Algeria who scored in the 119th minute to make it 2-1. We had about 15 minutes after the goal to put another one in. Jones & Dempsey both had good looks to do it but just couldn't find the back of the net

Tim Howard was unbelievable. Proud yet sad to see him go.

The sour side and as anticipated, our defense lost it's composure and cannot compete at the world class level. Players falling, midfield turnovers, flubbing corners, losing marks etc.... Too many mistakes in all games.

Belgium was superior, we played with guts- but talent will overcome guts in the end.
