That is an excellent point about Allen, turnup. Seriously, you want to uproot your family to live in Cleveland, Ohio for a one-year contract? The man should retire already and call it a stellar, potential HOF career with what four rings and gobs of money.

He played pretty good last season still, but on this team he won't see too many minutes which is good and he is still clutch.

I get your point, but all of these players the Cavs are adding, are being added to take the ball OUT of James' hands at crucial points of the games.
Is that what you really want? I know it often get quite frustrating for Heat fans.

Next, how are Kyrie and James going to work together when they both want/need to handle the ball during crunch time.

Wasn't Kyrie labeled Mr. 4th Qtr by Austin Carr ( who sucks at his job BTW)?
Do you really wants the ball in the hands of Kyrie instead of James?
Kyrie often just padded his stats in the 4th qtr during lopsided losses vs actually important minutes in close, winnable games if my memory serves me correct.

I'm sure they WILL NOT be happy.
I was at his house for a Heat charity event last year.
It's the size of a castle with a private beach that used to be owned by the Biltmore Hotel.
He's paying 50k/MONTH rent.
If you google it, it comes up.
I know he had it appraised for purchase a few months ago, but have no idea if he bought it or not.

Whichever, they need to have a chat with Hibbert about rebounding. Perhaps he should give Rodman a call.

No, not necessary. They are there to space the floor and give them a better chance of making outside and do other things. Lebron is still the guy and is still the most clutch player.

Kyrie is a very good 4th quarter player and Lebron will probably make him better, that is a good thing. I watched some Cavs game (didn't have League Pass), but jist bc they sucked doesn't mean they were just getting trainraped. He often got them back in games and did his best but just came up short. With Lebron here it will help out a lot and they will be expanding leads.

I think if they mesh, this combo could be eventually as good as Wade and Lebron in their best times.

Since when did Ray have 4 rings? By my count he only has 2...1 with Boston in 08' & the other from last season with the Heat.

Agree, but we all know that if he is doubled, he WILL pass to whoever is open.
As a Heat fan, I never minded Allen shooting, but if I'm an opponent, I'm happy every time he passes the ball to let someone shoot a 3. Sure, some games it kills you, but usually by % they miss, and missing 3's leads to fast breaks on the other end while at the same time not allowing your defense to set up.

I know you're excited about the prospect of Kyrie/Love/James, but that is not near the defensive trio that Wade/Bosh/James 4 years ago were in Miami in a normal defense, let alone chasing down teams in a fast break.

Whether he has 2 or 4, his point was with merit.
Miller/Jones are basically scrub journeymen. They won't be remembered for much of anything when they retire.

Allen is a future HOF.
He doesn't need to follow James around like a puppy dog.

He can now throw it to Kyrie for jumpshots as well and that will be his 2nd option in general.

Yep living and dying on the 3 is not a wise game plan...

Isn't strange how they are already crowning the CAVS....

They, the media, must have forgotten that the WEST WON?

So Kyrie is a better spot jump shooter then Ray Allen or Mike Miller or James Jones?
Negative to all 3 (even though I understand that probably only Allen would actually be on the court).

Didn't Kyrie usually dribble down court and then if he saw the opportunity, just shoot a 3?

Kyrie is a career PG.

If James is handling the ball, then he will basically have to invent a new part to his game.
If Kyrie is handling the ball and then just shooting, it mans James isn't touching the ball.
