Not watching and not sure if it was indeed called by Wash but he seems dead set on guys executing the bunt even with 2 strikes. It's not a high percentage or good move which is why it's not generally a move other players or managers choose with 2 strikes

I agree. But this one, it seemed to me, was on EA and not so much on RW. Good bunt and probably would have been a hit if he'd dropped down either line.

And speaking of EA.....that was one weak-ass AB young man.

Good road trip.... 7-4. Can't complain about that. They get a well earned day of rest now.

Yeah I decided not to watch today, so like I said I am not sure who's decision it may have been. I do remember one time this season where I know Ron called for a 2 strike bunt and it happened to work and since I have seen it at least 2-3 times though like I said I don't think it is the high percentage move. He believes his guys can get it done though and sometimes that my be his Achilles but while I don't have a problem believing in your players I do believe in going with the percentage move

7-4, very grueling road trip - don't care who is/isn't hurt - and we've gotta love this. I mean this was well beyond anyone's expectations.

Damn nice job Rangers.....and decent job by the Sportshoopla support staff too. :yahoo:

We've got a triage unit for a pitching staff it seems, and yet the other team can't score. Go figure?

Darvish went deep after the 22 pitch first and he has been terrific in his last 4 starts. You just gotta wonder what you will get with the rest of the pitchers from game to game. Wish they were all as reliable but that's just not realistic I know. Hopefully each start they learn from the previous and get better along the way and Colby begins to get stronger and better going forward

Darvish 0-3 inexcusable! Just kidding... looks like I missed a brillant performacne by him. 12Ks, 5H, and 0 runs is awesome but him getting the pen some rest and only pitching 102 through 8 is even better.

Might have lost the series but this really was a very successful road trip. Hate that I have to miss the O's series.

Side Note: Never really liked Boston fans or Pats fans on forums like these- well not here but ESPN. Anyway, I have to say Boston is a very nice city from what I have seen so far and most of the people actually seem pretty likable.

Right now I think we have a 1 in 5 chance of winning till Derek gets back. Lewis may get better but may not on that new hip of his.

Everybody gets a little more brash on a sports message board.

Yu had no hitter type stuff today. Great performance. Sad to hear we might miss Nelly....but not that sad. I'll be there Thursday. Bats need to come alive again.

Interesting observation.

I have always enjoyed the banter among opposing fans at the ball park; ours or theirs. And I've never been to Fenway. But will tell ya, I've seen approximately 15 different teams in Arlington, and Boston's fans are the least fun - by far - of anyone's IMO.

Stuck up, aloof, and down right unfriendly.

In fact, I can't name a team I haven't had some decent times with their fans other than Boston.
