I like Oregon in this, but that is crazy. Best bet will be the over. MSU lost a bunch on defense, but the offense returns a ton. I think a young MSU defense has problems with the Ducks, but the Ducks lost a great coordinator. They will be facing a veteran bunch across the ball. I would expect something more like 37-27.

True, but MSU's strength was their defense. They are returning a below average offense, IMO (#80 in total offense, #65 in scoring offense).

MSU 2014 will not be very competitive with them in September.


The Spartans lost way too much senior leadership and talent from last year.
That decorated and special group of seniors will always be local legends and drink for free...but they have moved on.


If the game was in December, it might be more competitive.

Oregon was #2 in total Offense last year in the country and they return 9 starters including their star QB.

MSU loses the majority of their Defense which led them to a nice season last year.

It's just not gonna be close. Not on the road....that crowd will be stoked, and Oregon will run all over the place.
