Are you talking about the penalty shot? If so, Perry should have been called for a penalty for playing the puck with a broken stick. The ref thought Doughty crack it when he was shooting but in reality, Perry's stick cracked when he blocked the shot.

What a super period of playoff hockey. Our team was ready to play from the start. Gotta keep that intensity going though. You know the Ducks are going to come out aggressive in the second. Good for the Kings they still have some time left on the power play.

The stick was cracked before he gained position of the puck. You can not play with a cracked stick, even if it isn't entirely separated. I guess the American feeds announcers never made this known to you guys.
