Kinda wish everyone would quit saying this. Yes, most or next to most D1 players each year; yes, some of the best quarterbacks (of last 20 years or so), in numbers. Yes, history of some good running backs.

But I think everyone knows, the deep South has the most of the best players at super-critical positions of Off Line and Def Line, linebackers and defensive backs. Texas does not have the number of those upper echelon big uglies. And football is won from the inside out. That's a fact, and that's why SEC has been so strong the past decade or so. Yall have those really big, really fast guys growing on trees over there.

So, everyone quit saying Texas has 'the best talent pool in the nation', because that's only true when you look from certain perspectives.

Hell, I think the NFL is making a strong statement to QB play in the SEC as a whole. Only Johnny money has gone anywhere and he slipped way down below his expectations. AJ, Murray, and zack are all still on the board.
