I'll try to wake up around 6-6:15 or so to catch the final few innings. I dont expect much scoring early on with Kershaw and Miley. Will it actually start at 4 or will there be a ton of pre game festivities going on pushing the first pitch closer to 4:20?

Is starting the MLB year in Australia a smart move for MLB? I mean, there is zero buzz about it just hours away. ZERO. Im not even sure many people are aware.

I don't recall there being much buzz back in 2012 when the A's and Mariners played in Japan. But then again, I'm pretty buzzed right now.

I live in Sydney and actually wanted the go to the game. The tickets were really expensive though and since I'm not an overly huge baseball fan I'll just watch it at home.

They already have an Australian Baseball League. They are trying to generate buzz with this series in the first place.

Anyone staying up to watch it?

If I was able to watch it, I would. But I don't have the MLB Network (ughhhhhh) and I didn't renew my mlb.tv subscription yet. I'll probably buy it later in the season. :/

You can always stream it but if you get a shitty stream then it probably wouldn't be worth staying up that late/waking up early.
