"In today's age, there are players that would be looking for numbers," Spoesltra said. "LeBron is just trying to play the game the right way. That takes great maturity."

- thats only half true, the other half is beyond laughable.

It actually is very true. LBJ is an all-around player and doesn't care about scoring as much. He could've easily gotten 55-60 last night if he truly wanted to. LBJ could've chucked up many more shots last night if his main concern was having another 50+ night for the 2nd time in 2 weeks but he chose not to. LBJ was 10-11 in the first quarter. For the rest of the game he went 4-8. If a player like Kobe or Melo scored 25 in the first quarter on 11 shots, those guys are going to at least put up another 15 shots or so in the next 3 quarters so they can get that 50 or 60 point game. If LBJ finished the game with 25 shots instead of 19, he would've been around 55 or so points but he never got out of character and started being a ball hog or anything.

43 points on only 19 shots is pretty darn impressive.

Ya know, that's probably why most people hate him so much as well. He is all those things and its refreshing seeing a superstar like him do that stuff. But then, he does things like flop like nobodies business, cry to the refs constantly, travels all the time, bulldozes people and never gets called for fouls, is coddled by the refs and is on a team that has players that flop a lot and he never says shit about that. He does does a lot of scumbag shit that really unfortunately takes away from all those great things. Its a shame. I really wish I could cheer for him, but he does too many dirty things. The guy is amazing, why does he have to do all that cheap BS. Say whatever you want, but there is a damn good reason most people that aren't Heat fans say the same thing as me.

1) LMAO which team lead the league in flopping violations this season?
2) Crying to the refs? LMAO damn near every player complain to the refs. David West act like he never should be called for a foul. Chris Paul and Durant cry to the refs way more than Lebron. Players bitch about calls all the time so why single out Lebron when he doesn't do it nearly as much as other guys.
3) Travels all the time? Proof please or are you just making shit up again?
4)Bulldozes people all the time and never get called for a foul? Making shit up again?
5) Coddled by the refs? You know who is coddled by the refs? ROY HIBBERT....The only center in the world who never gets called for a foul. Dwight does the same shit he does and is always in foul trouble.
6) Scumbag shit? So flopping every now and then, complaining to the refs like other players always do is now scumbag shit? I think trying to pay a chick a ton of money to get an abortion, pushing your girlfriend down the stairs, getting charged for a felony, and etc falls under the scumbag category

BTW for someone who admitted he only watches Pacers game, you sure make a lot of shit up about the Heat and Lebron. You have no idea what goes on in the Heat other 78 games yearly. You see them 4 times and make shit up.

Speaking of getting coddled by the refs, didn't Paul George have 13 FREE THROW ATTEMPTS AT HALF ON MONDAY? If LBJ ever did that all of you little whiny bitches would've made several threads about it and how the refs won the game for the Heat.

Lebron gets all the calls in the world according to Lone Idiot but somehow he's not top in free throw attempts and DeMar DeRozan avg more free throws per night than Lebron.

I talk facts....You talk bullshit

Roy goes straight up. He's good at it. Paying a chick a ton of money? Not that scummy. Pushing a chick down the stairs? Ya, a little scum baggy. LeBron cries more than anyone in the league. He does travel a lot and if you don't think he is given more preferential treatment by the refs than any other player in the league, you don't know much about basketball. Leads the league in flopping violations? Please, take a look at Miami over the last five years, all the videos, regardless of fines or warning; your team is at the top of that mountain.

Lebron could of scored 50 or 60. What you morons don't know is he only shot 8 times in the last 3 quarters.

He was 13/19 and ended up with 43. Only 19 shots, how amazing is that.

You guys better enjoy his greatness because you might never see this in your lifetime again.

I completely agree. He's one of the very few big men who does it right.

He is pretty good at it, but what happened is he earned himself a reputation (especially in the playoffs last year) of being good at it, and suddenly the refs think he goes straight up every single time. He doesn't.

Sort of like the team that has a reputation for good defense that gets away with fouling because its "good defense".

He has 25 in the 1st quarter!!!

10/11 from the field and 2 assists!

Watch put Kobe, if this one stays close he could!

It all depends if it is close, bc Wade is out.

If he has 40+ at half. I say he gets 65.

No doubt he will get to 50, but I was hoping for 70 maybe. He will have to have a Kobe-esque 2nd half.

Welp he has 31 at half. Still on pace for another 60.

Lebron could of scored 50 or 60. What you morons don't know is he only shot 8 times in the last 3 quarters.

You post all of this, including "no doubt he gets 50" and everyone else is a moron.:L

I will agree though, that 43 points on only 19 shots is pretty amazing.

Who's fault was it he only shot 8 times? They barely beat the Cavs. A 26-42 team without its star player.

Why is he 8th in free throws if he gets all the calls on offense? Shouldn't he be avg 12 or 13 free throws easily? What don't you understand that DeRozan who is not close to being a superstar get more calls than he does?

As I said before I have numbers to back up my claims.....You have nothing

You watched 2 Heat games all year.

Calm down Laker fans. It's nobody fault but Lebron, I guess he doesn't care about records like Kobe "ballhog" Bryant

Believe it or not. Some shitty teams have good games, it happens it's the NBA.

It's no one fault. He is just not a selfish player so his scoring means nothing. As I said before if he was so concerned about scoring 50 or 60, he could've easily shot another 6-8 times and scored at least 55

I love when people act like good teams are supposed to destroy every bad team by 25 points. Cleveland still have some good players even without Irving. They're a big disappointment this year with that roster.

Yep attempting to kill a newborn is not scummy at all. If he is giving preferential treatment why is he 8th in free throw attempts when he attack the rim way more than the guys in front of him maybe except for Harden. As I said watch more NBA games. ALL SUPERSTAR/STAR always bitch about calls including Paul George. Chris Paul is at the top of the list along with Durant and Melo when it comes to bitching about the calls.

As I said before you only watch Pacers game so you clearly doesn't know anything about the other 29 teams.....Stick to the 1 team you know about.

No doubt. Heck, I've seen this years crappy Lakers team beat the Clippers, Thunder and Rockets. No matter how bad a player/team might be by NBA standards, we are still talking about some of the best players in the world. Over the course of an 82 game season, there are going to be times where bad teams play "over their heads" and good teams have "off games".
