Why is Indiana's fanbase so pathetic?

You would think that a young team on the rise, who has been to the ECF the past 2 seasons would be able to do better than 25th in home attendance last season and 18th this season.

Is it because all the hicks in Indiana are simply too poor to go to the games or is it because they are busy doing more important things like cooking methamphetamine?

Leave it to a Heat fan to question a teams fanbase!

True fact though. Pacers fans are quick to point out the Heat fans showing up late for games, poor attendance, etc. Pot meet kettle.

I don't have a horse in this race (Pacers v Heat) but from an outsiders standpoint. I watched about 10 minutes of the game tonight, and I seen many, many open seats.

Heat fanbase is a joke, they didn't even sell out their first 5 home games when the so called big 3 joined up, and let's not forget how Heat fans proved how much of a bandwagon fan base they are, when last season in game 6 many heat fans walked out of the arena thinking they had lost & then tried to get back in when they found out the game was in OT & won thanks to Ray Allen. It's pathetic if you think about it :L

Fucken JOKE!! :laugh3:

I would disagree because Indiana supports a more winning NFL franchise that actually won a Superbowl and they got a stadium built for a relatively small town. In my experience Indiana fans are gamers into betting on horse racing. Of course they have Indy car too. In both college and pro hoops they've been recruiting better and have more of a diverse fan base now. Pacers games are usually packed until the last second unlike other arenas where the fans leave 5 minutes early. It's hard to see Detroit fans talking about Indiana when Detroit hasn't won a Superbowl in years and Indiana is doing so well in NFL and NBA now.

Indianapolis almost has a million people. One of the larger cities with a NBA market. Not a small town.

Yeah the lions might not have a superbowl but lets not forget the pistons 3 titles? How many do the pacers have? All the wings cup? Indy no team? Tigers have WS....does indy even have a team? But yeah.....bring up the lions.....not to mention the colleges in michigan have both won national championships in football and basketball since indiana last won one.....but yeah, bring up the lions.....indy has exactly ONE more superbowl win then the pathetic lions.....and they had manning how many years?

Why is that weird? Northwest Indiana borders south Chicago and is called "Da Region". Very much a Chicago feel. You're not truly in Indiana until you travel about an hour or so south and east of Cook County.

Lebronmonsterdunk is a fag. That's a fact. He admitted on another sports site a while back to being attracted to Channing Tatum. So, I laugh at that. Stick to your tupperwear parties, sports aren't for you. Bandwagon fan.

Nobody whose fan base walked out on Game 6 of the NBA Finals should EVER call out anyone else's fan base.

EVER!

Kinda ironic question from the OP, considering most "Heat fans'' jumped on board a few years ago....

Rule #1 - Heat fans are NEVER allowed to call out another fan base. If you do: Nobody will take a diaper wearing, newbie, seriously. Just stick to being a Lebron fan. Your allegiance to the Heat will change as soon as he leaves.

I used to follow the Pacers back in the late '90s, when they had Reggie, Mark, the Davis', the Dutch Dunk, et. al. Like many, I suspect, I lost interest after they went downhill from being championship contenders to being punks who brawled with fans in the stands, and never came back.
