Conner with a high stick, and the Bruins have a chance on the powerplay to tie the game.

What a play by Adams, and then what a play by Despres.

Bush league move by Neal too. He should get a game for that shot to the head. The league will protect Boston. They always do.

Hey dickhead fuck you. Maybe if you knew hockey before 2008 you would know about Samuelsson and Cooke ending many careers. More than every Bruins player in history. So fuck you and your whiny ass theories

Dirty shots taken by both teams and there is no need for this crap. These 2 teams kill one another enough during regular play.

Who's career did Ulf end?

Cam Neely for 1. That cheap shot is what started the leg problems that ended his career. Most knowledgeable Pens fans admit this. I guess we know where you rank

Great kill by the Pens to end the period, helped by a big save by Fleury.

Looks like a slewfoot too. God what scum Thornton is. I can only imagine how that clown Jack Edwards is trying to justify it.

Thornton gets maybe a game. Everyone knows the Boston organization is notorious for blowing the refs and Bettman.

Don't be an idiot. There's enough vitriol in this thread (and this game) without unnecessary and stupid comments.

You may want to research that. Cam has come out and said that hit didn't end his career but I'm sure you are well informed of this since he was a Bruin. Keep crying tho.

Sheesh, man, calm down. I told you, quite clearly, that I wasn't even aware of the play until his penalty was announced. Once I saw it, I deemed it dirty, unnecessary, and stupid, and was surprised he didn't get more. Read my post, for crying out loud, before you chastise my morality and fairness.

And, in the spirit of reading my post, I said you didn't directly say that Neal's actions justified Thornton's, but that the language you used did imply it, even if unintentionally.

Nice to see a fan of the opponents admitting his team did something wrong.
