Bell is one of those guys that seems to be better when he is not QB1. That was his success in the Belldozer package the previous 2 yrs. This season, he has done well when he has pressure for his job. Backing up Knight, just like backing up Jones. In any case, he did well and pulled one out for us. Special teams helped alot. Our D played well too. Bend but don't break.

My mother in law is staying with us for the holidays, and she thinks I am not quite right as well. I'm ok with that.

no? You guys are #16 right now (with NIU loss) you just beat #6 on the road. I think that will get you a 2 spot bump. I guess, to solidify being in the top 14 all you really need is for Stanford to beat ASU.

Also, I guess Texas beating Baylor could help you guys as well.

Well lets look at who would go to a BCS bowl?

SECCG winner, Bama
Pac12 winner
Ohio State
UCF
Big12 winner
FSU, Clemson.

There is two spots open at this point. No mid major will qualify for a BCS bowl. So what we will have is two loss Oregon, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, assuming Michigan State loses they are in this category. The Rose Bowl will not pick Oregon and I believe they will stick with tradition for the 100th Rose Bowl and go with MSU. Oklahoma and Oregon are both going to be higher draws than OkSU so OkSU is out now. I would say it is a 50/50 proposition.
