And right now I'd say SF will win it, but it really is a bit of a toss up. I just don't think SF will stay in this funk for very long. They have to sense the urgency of needing this win to avoid another divisional loss and a 3 game losing streak.

Rams may have had their number in recent meetings, but neither are world beaters. Edge right now is SF out of desperation.

I expect Jeff Fisher to be very prepared for this game and to exploit the 49ers weaknesses and get after Kaepernick. It would be very tough to put money on the Rams but they're at home and the 49ers are rocked right now.

I'm also going with the edge to the 49ers. They're a better team and this is a must win for them or the division will start slipping away.

St. Louis always play San Fran tough. Last yr I believe they had a tie and St. Louis won in OT at home.

Must win for both teams

Big game for both teams, but more so for the 49ers. Going 1-3 with 2 division loses would be a disaster and their whole season could unravel. For the Rams a loss would be bad, but they are still in the building stage, so it would just be a set back.

Go Rams!

Loser of the game is probably out of the division race and you figure that Green Bay, Detroit and Atlanta are all going to be ahead in the wild card race.

Basically a must win for both teams but STL was so bad against Dallas that its hard to see them beating anyone.

Tough call. The Niners have not faced this kind of adversity under Harbaugh so it's hard to say how they will respond. Jeff Fisher is a proven quality coach at the NFL level. He knows how to game plan. Because of Fisher and the fact that it is in Saint Louis, I give the edge to the Rams. Something tells me this Niner team is on the verge of imploding. They seem very unstable.

I would have to give the edge to St. Louis because the niners are a train wreck right now, and have to play only 4 days after today's whooping. Add to that the travel time and playing on the road, and this game could be ugly for the niners. They are essentially playing for second place in the NFC West, something they won't be too proud of. On the other side of the coin, the Rams have a chance to leap-frog the niners in the pecking order within the division and get the chance to do it at home. The Rams will be fired up for sure.

Rams have a golden opportunity. Word is out on how to shut SF down. And it's in St. Louis.

Yeah the word is out!!!! Wait till they have an insurmountable number of injuries and then just show up.

Now Patrick Willis is out with injury. We are fucked.

Big time Adversity game for SF. Crabtree, Vernon, Willis, and Aldon all likely out. Traveling two time zones, to play a division opponent, on a short week, after being out of funk. Sometimes a win in a game like this can really bring the team together.

Who ever can force takeaways and cashes in with touchdowns wins this game.

Atleast it's a home game for the rams so they might just come to play but it wouldn't surprise me if kAp ran all over the place

Rams had a whole week to prep for Dallas and we only got like 2 yards in the first half. They really need to show up

I thought that you guys had a great coach and GM.... who have yet to develop any quality players, unless of course you count Kap and Aldon Smith.
