Thought it couldn't get any worse, but the Giants found a way. Good job by Blanco drawing the walk in the 7th to avoid the perfect game. Great job by the front office watching the team roll over and die, while doing nothing to this point. Someone should flip the spread in the clubhouse, if anyone has the energy or motivation. Just end this fucking abortion of a road trip already. The 1985 team was better than this pile of shit.

Giants are 2-10, 4-13.......

Question: if Kobe isn't going to play, why not DL him and bring someone up who can play? I know guys get nicked up, but we have a short bench anyway, and with Stamos hurtin, and Moped hurting, why not DL them and bring up some guys until they are properly healed? Why risk permanent damage (Moped) while contributing nothing on D and nothing on O?

You would hope something like this could be the kick or punch to the face that gets the Giants to wake up, but I doubt it

Somewhere along the line the driver fell asleep and this season is slipping away. I hope something can revive them soon. We will probably be in last place by the end of the night. We are lucky that our division is the way it is, but will we be good enough to take advantage?

The silver lining here is that this should put the focus the need for a fundamental change of some sort, like the hitting coach. We aren't extending the pitch count, we aren't drawing walks, we are making stars out of rookies, we are making superstars out of journeymen.

Giants had 57 walks in 27 games in June (2.11 per game). In contrast, the Braves had 115 walks in June (4.10 per game)

Giants saw the fewest pitches per game in the NL in June (except for the Brewers). The Marlins saw fewer pitches, but also played two fewer games.

The nightmare gets worse and worse.

And this seems to be Noggin's and Sabean's and Rags' and Meulens approach

:omg::omg::omg::omg:

Stokes as it is often over stated with baseball the season is a marathon not a sprint.

It is a marathon, and we understand that. However, this team sprinted for the first 2 miles, then turned around and started running the wrong way for the next 10 miles.

The only thing that is "positive" is that the other runners in our division strapped themselves to turtles for the first 12 miles as well.

Injuries is not the reason this team is sucking.

Posey has been inconsistent.
Pence has been inconsistent.
Panda has been fat.
The rotation hasn't shown up.

That all has NOTHING to do with injuries.

The prob is that this strategy comes from Bochy, if not even higher up the chain. Remember when Carney ran for the hills?

This team deserves not to have an All Star, but it's unlikely bc Posey will probably get in.

Truly pathetic today but kudos to Bailey for his performance.

Posey is a lock, and Bum has a solid shot since he has never been. Maybe Romo as well.

But I agree. This team does not deserve any, just on principle.

Non hater A's fan moving over from ESPN, sucks you guys got no hit but maybe it will cause a little shake up for your club and some more inspired play the rest of the way.

Panda needs to be put onto a diet I can't believe how big that guy is again.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be a prick because what this team did last year in the postseason eclipses what Homer Bailey did in just one game, obviously. However, for whatever reason these guys aren't playing with that same fervor they had earlier in the season and even last year. Not having an AS after having won the WS would be the greatest wake up call for this team, if today's performance didn't wake them up already.

Machi and Panda have BMI's that need to be rectified. Machi was already sent down, thank goodness, but Panda is the only option right not at 3rd. This guy made noise in the PO's, but he's eating his way out of this league. I don't care what excuses are made for this guy, but being in the medical field myself, I"m telling you Panda is flirting with the possibility of hitting free agency.

And plus, everyone on this team needs that extra time to figure out how to right this ship.

It's also unlikely because every team gets an allstar, them's the rules. and to be fair Posey is very deserving. Bumgarner almost is.

I too tip my cap to Bailey, rather be no hit than shutout in a 2 hitter.

shame because Lincecum pitched well, on the road, hitters park.

Cal: Norris aint enough, we need offense more it seems.

He reminds me of Oliver Miller a little bit I know it's a different sport there was a talented athlete that ate his way out of the NBA, it's a shame Panda didn't stay in shape after he slimmed down he's a major talent and should be paired alongside Buster for years to come but he's putting everything at risk.

God I hope so, for our sake. There is a lot of talent on this team, and is defiantly the most complete team (IMO), and the players probably agree. In fact a few of them have even said it. But they need to stop talking about it and need to show why. I hope tonight is a big enough kick in the butt.
