That's not what I'm saying. Staying power means something. We have all seen one year wonders. I'm not predicting that for Wilson. I actually like him as a player but his fans (most) are annoying. He has "reached legendary status" in a lot of their minds.
Really? Show me a one-year wonder that had a season like Russell had last year. I can think of one, and if you can name him, more power to you.
In general, 100 QB Ratings aren't achieved by flukes. Especially when that person was coming off the highest QB Rating in NCAA History. And he has no visible weaknesses (go ahead and name me one). And when he is outstanding at all splits. It's not like he is surviving off of one fluke type of play.
And as for legendary status, I have seen many college games in person (as a guess, about 50). I have also seen about twenty NFL games in person. I've seen Rodgers, Brees, Brady, McNabb, Dayne, Woodson, Urlacher, Champ Bailey, etc. The list goes on and on with NFL HOFers and CFB legends. None of them impressed me as much as Russell Wilson. Getting to watch him on a week to week basis was incredible. He never let you down and he just had an aura about him, like you were watching The Beatles in Hamburg or a ten year old Jesus preach. Russell Wilson could have been a huge flop in the NFL, but i'd have known what I saw. And what I saw was pure, unadulterated greatness. I've elevated him to legend status and he's earned every bit of it.
And you can all me an irrational fanboy all you want, but the reality is that everyone I know who watches Russell gets that same bone-chilling feeling. When people walk into games saying "that guy is overrated" and walk out saying "that quarterback is a beast" (and I got this reaction from fans at the Rams game last year, even when his numbers were awful), you know you are watching one of the true greats.

Who is this random guy repping my teams?
Welcome, and come to our team boards.
That's moronic. I don't make decisions on top 10 QBs off of ONE season. If you want to do that, that's your prerogative but it's not sound logic.
No chance Andre Johnson is top 10. He isn't even the best WR in the AFC.
