How do you know if it was his only trick if it's the only one you let him try? How do you know it was an aberration if the only time you let him try it he succeeds?

my point to tubbs was if he is so great why didnt he do more than what he did in those 4 plays .. thats all

most qbs need to develop a game rhythm to get anything accomplished. I think the jets have done a disservice to tebow all season long. Sunday was the first time he played more than 2 plays in a row all season and even then it was only 4 plays. Is tebow a great qb at the moment...no. Does he deserve to get a start and put up or shut up...yes.

Tebow doesn't deserve a chance, he got one last year.

What he proved was that you cannot run a traditional offense with him at QB. You HAVE to run the ball, you can't run a pro offense.

There isn't a coach or GM in the league that wants to change their offense to be COMPLETELY dependent on running the ball and great defense. You aren't going to find a coach that will sign up for that. They want QBs that can sling the rock, and Tebow isn't that QB.

This is why he may not be in the league next year. I can't see any team taking him unless it's purely to be a trick player or unless he decides to change positions.

I heard it will be cheaper for the Jets to cut him before June 1st than to trade him

I'd take Vick over Dirty Sanchez in a second. And Vick can barely play 10 games a season.

Tebow is an NFL QB. I watched all of his games when he started for Denver. They mainly ran on 1st and 2nd down. On third down he would throw a lot of them on the money and D. Thomas and E. Decker would drop them. That happened a lot which always killed drives. He put the ball on the money in the Pittsburgh game too. They didn't have him throw a whole lot. I have never seen basically a Rookie QB get more scrutinized than Tebow. The NFL lockout didn't help him either.

LOL. His 47% completion says otherwise.

THIS, along with his 71 yards per game passing, 6 yards per attempt.......we could do this all day.

He's not an NFL QB, he never was, and he most likely never will be. Teams, coaches, and GMs know they can't win with a QB putting up those numbers. Frankly, so should anyone that calls themselves a fan of this game.

So on a scale from 1-10. Sanchez obviously at 1 if that, Vick (looking at this past season) is like a 4. So you take anything you can get for him!

How do you know he doesn't have the tactics and teaching ability?

Because he's Tim Tebow.

jk. I don't know that he doesn't have those qualities, I was just countering your claim that his will to win, work ethic, and being a motivator would make him a great coach.

This is a typical Jets move. When I heard it, I wasn't even surprised. I hope someone gets in Vick's ear and talks him out of it though. I think Vick could still be successful. KC, Arizona, and Minnesota all come to mind, especially Minnesota where you could conceivably come up with a devastating option attack with AP, Harvin and Vick.

But Vick on the Jets =

In 1983, Elway started 10 games as a rookie. He was awful.

Elway finished 4-6 as a starter that year. He threw seven touchdowns, 14 interceptions and completed just 47.5 percent of his passes. Elway also had one game-winning drive during that span, something he'd become known for during his career.

When you compare the two player's stats, there really is no comparison.

In 10 starts, Tebow has 14 touchdown passes, six rushing touchdowns and four interceptions. And perhaps the most intriguing stat considering how much he's been scrutinized about his passing, Tebow has a higher completion percentage at 48 percent.

Tebow has also engineered five game-winning drives, which ties him with Scott Brunner and Marc Wilson for the most game-winning drives in the first 10 starts.

You are ready to write Tebow off after 1 full year as a starting QB? A year in which he took a 1-4 team to the playoffs and winning and throwing for over 300 yards against the Steelers in a playoff game?

I hope Sanchez, Vick and Tebow are the QB roster for the '13 Jets. I hate them that bad.
