Hell I live on the border with West Virginia, work many days in West Virginia, and I won't even ride in a car with West Virginia tags on it. That even goes back to the days when I was a young kid. I was about 12 years old and we were going to take a trip to Cincinnati. My parents car didn't have A/C back then and we were going to take my grandmother's car (which had A/C), who lived in Beckley, WV. Neither my brother nor I would ride in the car so we had to roll down the windows and drive fast (my dad hated WVU too so he wasn't too upset we took our family car).

When I started my full-time job in 1990, one of my first projects took me to Morgantown for 10 months....absolute misery. Pure misery.

He's a natural scorer at point guard, and he leads a team that has scored fewer than 80 points just once in seven games. In a conference with lots of weak defenses, he and the Hokies should thrive.

I'm worried for our players. WVU vs. VT hasn't happened in so long it seems. We've all seen how WVU reacts when Pitt comes to town for a basketball game. Fans start littering the court with loose change. This may be their only chance for a while to relive the rivalry in Morgantown. Hope our players can dodge double-AA batteries and pennies while trying to shoot 3's.

They did. There was a scuffle but no punches thrown. Most of the ejections were for players leaving the bench area. They'll be eligible to play Saturday.
