Am I the only one who thinks the Giants might take a step back and won't have the benefit of the hot start they had last year? Daboll is a good HC that got the most out of what he had and they added a couple pieces but one has to wonder if Jones can repeat last season with a tougher schedule.
As for the Ravens, definitely talented enough but I just find it hard to believe they can get past the other teams in the AFC. But it's all just guessing right now so who knows.

I think it depends on how a person views Daniel Jones. Is he a guy who puts together his best year in a contract year playing in a new system? Or is he a hidden gem that’s been held back from poor roster construction and poor coaching until the Dabol regime? Time will tell. I personally don’t believe in Daniel Jones. At the same time, I am impressed with Dabol and not willing to say he can’t continue to develop Jones. I think they’re one of the more volatile teams to handicap this year. I can see them being anywhere from a 5/6 win team to an 11/12 win team.

RTK's wishful thinking, that's all. If DeShaun Watson actually works out for the Brownies I think your team has a better chance of knocking us off, but that's just my opinion...

Philly 84- Baltimore -4. Philly will be so great that they'll take not just 1, but TWO kneel downs in the end zone because they'll feel sorry for them... :heh:

I know the popular thing to point out is RTK's homerism shining brightly, but picking the Eagles isnt far feteched. They are one of the top teams in the NFC right now.

The craziness I see is picking the Ravens to make the Superbowl. They dont have the defense to support their offense & Lamar will never see a Superbowl as a participant. I am not even sure the Ravens can make the playoffs let alone make the Superbowl.

They'll score TD's by air, ground, a punt return, a kickoff return, a fumble return & at least one int. returned.

One of the best HC and coaching staffs in the league. Year two they are now heading into a year under the new GM where he can really start to shape the team in his vision. Giants will only become more dangerous in time as this current regime can build a talented team for this talented coaching staff. Daniel Jones isn't a killer like Josh Allen but it doesn't matter much because beyond Jalen Hurts there isn't much at all in the NFC that compares to the AFC top QBs. Giants can get by with Daniel Jones as Daboll continues to get the most out of him possible. They are for sure a dark horse team that I'm worried about if they were to sign Hopkins.

Lamar has the second highest win % among active QBs. It's only a matter of time before the Lamar Jackson Ravens breakthrough and have a deep playoff run.

Evidently RTK is still mad at me because I called him out on his cowardice. Don't know how I'm gonna deal with that...

Happy Cracking Up GIF by Regal
What a coward he is and he started up with all the same bull shit again this year already. Mark it down, you won't see him on here in February. Got all drunk and cocky, then drunker and ornery, the cried like a baby and didn't show up for a month. Who talks non stop BS about their team the way he does and waits their whole life for their team to win a second Super Bowl and gets completely plastered during it?

Giants turn to win the division.
Maybe the eagles make the SB as a wild card.
definitely has a long streak of no back to back division champs.
I could see that happening, considering this.

to bad football isnt played on paper.

Jimmy G has an awesome win pct. too. They weren't winning because the QB.

Lamar couldnt get it done with a complete team. Team he has now isnt as good as it once was & he wont be making any superbowl ever. That isnt even figuring in all the power house teams are in the AFC right now.

I think the Ravens will need luck just to get the 7 seed in the AFC. There will be a surprise team in there to make getting the WC spot tough. Jets, Dolphins, maybe even Browns, Steelers or Broncos could sneak in or at least make it interesting. I'm pencilling in the Chargers for now and figuring only the Jags out of the south. I still think it's the Bengals (north), Bills (east) and the obvious Chiefs.

Maybe one of these years people will be right on the Chargers. I see the epitome of “almost” in them. They post a nice win total beating average and bad teams. Then they face good teams and they find ways to lose the game.

Yeah. Pretty much the story of their existence is "almost". But I do think they win enough games to get the 5 seed or at least, the 6. I don't expect a play-off run but who knows. They should have enough to get to the dance floor.

I have them at 9-8 this year.
