The USC loss last night solidified the 4. Today’s games are just for the seeding.
Georgia Michigan OSU Bama? Big 10 and SEC only?

This is the appropriate forum.

No, it is not.
So in other words you're completely full of shit again and can't produce anything legit to back up what you've hilariously claimed. Typical.

No, I am NOT full of sh1t and can AND HAVE produced plenty of legit stats and facts to back up what I've claimed.

But again, this is NOT the appropriate thread. Did I misspeak and say forum, I meant thread. Guess we are both human, eh?

Seems to me that Texas based teams have risen in the ranks since Nebraska's heyday.

Not A&M, but TT, TCU and Baylor all have had more success in the last 20-25 years than the previous 20-25, so they could be keeping a lot of Texas recruits in state that Nebraska was able to snag back in the day.

As i flip through 2002 Nebraska I'm seeing about a dozen Texas recruits. A lot of Cali as well

Even with their loss?
You mean their ONE AND ONLY loss, a lame OT loss. They only lost in OT because they went first and went for the TD instead of the fg. I'll give KSU credit for stopping them twice on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1, but had TCU known they could get away with kicking a FG, the outcome could have easily been different. I mean, it's a legit loss, but FAR FAR FAR less embarrassing than Bama's TWO losses and their barely beating Texas.

I barely follow college football I just was wondering how the committee would see it.

That Alabama loss to LSU is not even looking like that great of a loss anymore

Soon to be 4-loss LSU keeps getting blown out repeatedly and lost to an awful A&M team....after escaping a mediocre Arky team by 3.

but, i guess there is time for them to comeback versus Georgia technically.

I'm not saying there isn't an SEC bias at times, but if they wanted to do this the easiest thing to do was just rank Bama 5 and OSU 6 in the current ranking.

I cannot think of one time that what you suggested happens "all the time" has ever happened.
Well there is this.

Well, that is how I, and most others I'm guessing, are hoping the committee will see it. We're all hoping the Committee doesn't figure out a way to shove an undeserving Bama team in. No one wants to see Georgia vs Bama and Michigan vs OSU in the semis, if that can be helped.

Georgia vs OSU and Michigan vs TCU would be the best case scenario that I can see now that USC has lost.

Well there is this.

That would be total bs. I'm fine with Bama ALWAYS being in the cfp/title game, WHEN THEY DESERVE IT, but for fucks sake, they've lost 2 games, their best win is vs Texas? And they barely won that game.

Maybe since the '90s, a growing number of Texas and California schools realized that there was money to be made in college football , so more and kids began staying in state and Nebraska has been left with kids who are real cornhuskers. It really is hard to see Nebraska getting back to the top of college football.
