Absolutely no reward there and a shit ton of risk. Nobody on the planet would have faulted him for slapping the puck out and taking an icing. I had no problem with some of the sloppy play and inability to make good passes, being it's the first game, but that play absolutely defies description.

One slightly positive note -- better now than later on?
