So this kid, a freshman defensive end with an attitude, heard about Larry Allen and wanted a piece of Larry Allen. It was all the rage in the fall of 1992. Everyone on the Sonoma State football team had to take a shot at Allen.

I know he was Div II but with everyone knowing all these things about Allen. I still dont understand how he fell to us in the 2nd round.

Almost reminds me of the Deacon Jones pre draft story, Rams went to watch film on various running backs and this guy on the other team was over the place making places. Scouting wasn't as advanced, a kid from a small school like Mississippi Valley State wasn't getting a look.

Is any team willing to pay him $250 million over 5 years guaranteed if he happens to hit the open market? If you think so, who and why?
