yup ..light years

#wiseman2overall. lol

just so glad they didnt take ball.
What's funny with this is

1. It's such a nothing thing, even if he is a bust who the hell cares?
2. He will probably be pretty good and not a bust
3. You have been flailing away at fans of the greatest NBA team of the last 7 years and counting like, what, we gonna look at our feet and say man he right Warriors suck, they drafted some 7 footer at 2 we don't know how good he is yet. Man, they got us.
4. So many rings.

So, I mean, good job?

I wouldnt cry any tears over Poole though. Def. substantially a product of his environment. I dont see much difference talent wise with him and Sexton.
Yep, I think they will choose the far superior Wiggins, even if he is 4 years older. They got enough youth. Poole is fun, and a key piece, but that's all he is. A supporting piece.

just so glad they didnt take ball. him and Kuminga would be a real beginning of a new core.

itll be back to wandering in the desert post curry....clock is ticking
Post Curry in 4 years LOL...even if you haven't always been wrong about the team, and I mean ALWAYS, that's a lot of clock ticks. You have no idea what the league will be like in 4 years, nor do any of us. Sorry man, Warriors are kind of bulletproof right now. Great recent past, great present, exciting future.

You gotta take the chances with the young guys you drafted if you want to be able to afford to field a team. Gotta let Wiggins go if needed. Who plays PG after Curry? Maybe they'll find someone. Who knows? Maybe Rollins becomes that guy.

Yeah, you are wrong here.

Poole is a really nice player.

But he is a dime a dozen. Lots of instant offense players out there who only contribute on 1 side. Can he be a better defender on time?

Sure. But he isn’t ever going to be an asset defensively. And against teams like Boston who have bigger guards? It is very difficult to play Poole and Curry at the same time. Which means, in certain matchups he is limited to about 20 minutes a game.

Klay and Dray aren’t close to what they were. Wiggins is easily your 2nd best player.

And as fun as Poole is to watch offensively, he isn’t good enough to justify keeping over Wiggins.

He is the type of player who makes a great piece on a top team, but give him that bag and ask him to be 1 or 2?

You ain’t going to be doing much winning.

In other words, his future isn’t bright enough to justify retaining him over Wiggins who extends your window of contention with the Curry core.

Agree with most of this but Klay and Dray are closer to how they once were than you say

They aren’t good enough to be 2 and 3 on a championship team led by Curry.

They certainly were before Klay’s injury.

Yeah that would actually be a thing, but if KD wants to go there (not sure he 'wants' to as much as would be meh) maybe he doesn't care. Dude just wants to play and win.
also seems odd to say the Finals' MVP was carried to his rings.

The only argument you can make is that Curry was the true MVP and that he accommodated KD during his time on the Warriors, allowing him to shine and win Finals MVP. I think that's the line of thinking that Barkley is pushing with the bus driver analogy.

I'll accept defeat when the Warriors let go of Poole. Really hoping that doesn't happen. But if they win another title or two, I can't complain.

This just feels like dray leveraging his friendship with curry to get overpaid

They should ship his ass out in a Durant trade
Can't fault him for asking. Obviously they won't pay it. He's here 2 more years then I expect they finally move on from the big 3

The second year is a player option for Draymond so perhaps he's here only one more year and they use that money to sign both Poole and Wiggins, who knows....

Hopefully. That would be a dream come true.
