Call me cold, but we get a lot of pedestrians cilled on I15 here in Vegas, and my response is always, "Oh well, dummy shouldn't of tried crossing there".

Scratching my head at the place he was crossing the highway. On the east side of the I-595 & I-95 junction. He was either crossing from a park to the airport or vice versa… and you can’t enter the airport there. And a pedestrian crossing near a junction that size is just absurd.

It was an odd feeling hearing this news about a guy I could not stand. Being lazy and making stupid decisions is not how a professional acts. But his news was horrible and I was really upset.

Now I learn that he died by being a dumb ass. Again. So it's getting hard for me to feel much sympathy for the man, just his family.

That's the issue I take...people are constantly looking to score points....for what exactly? First off...we don't really know the circumstances surrounding it as of yet. People get out of cars to attend to tires etc and get killed on the highway.

Regardless I don't know why the first reaction for a sports writer is talk about how he didn't live up to expectations on the field..

Damn .Just about a year and a half older than my son. I can't even imagine the grief his family is feeling. RIP and bless your loved ones at this time.

My sons great grandmother (85) got struck and killed by a car in south florida about five years ago. Cuban area where people J walk all the time. It wasn't the drivers fault.
