Clear DPI and you know it, at least admit the obvious... We didn't deserve it though after that ridiculous delay of game... So congrats, send Pete a thank you letter for the #1 seed, take advantage of it Niners...

yeah that could have been called but Seattle got a gift in that penalty against Garland (not that it wasn't a penalty but still a gift).

Every fucking play they flirt with delay of game. That shit starts in practice. He's always been horrible managing the clock and timeouts.
Maybe, but don't blame Carroll for the delay of game penalty.

Ya know...I had the same question but was afraid to say anything. I had thought it was 3rd down for some reason. Glad it wasn't just me.
I just looked at the play by play. It looks like they spiked it to stop the clock after that catch at the one, then got the penalty for not getting the next play off in time.

lol Seattle was smart to lose the game. They can't win at home with this team, and Philly is horrible. Strategically losing the game, LOL

IIRC, if Fant wasn't able to get up it would have been a 10 second run off. Should have just let him stay on the ground.
Yeah but after the spike the clock was stopped. He can go down and there wouldn’t have been a 10 second run off. Seattle was running a lineman on the field and Lineman was on 1 knee waving him off

I put a good part of the loss on the defense, despite the injuries. They fell down and otherwise left receivers wide fucking open way too many times in a game of this magnitude. They also once again failed to get enough of a pass rush to do anything to JG and it was at home where they had the advantage. And that tackling.... :tsk:

They did get a hold late to give them a chance, but they had given up way too much already all day long.

You might be right. The Vikings would've been fired up to get revenge.

LMFAO the sheer incompetence of the braindead Carroll and the Midget choker tandem should never surprise Hawk fans

Russ is not a choker if that's what you're talking about ... He's been unbelievable... Pete on the other hand makes me pull my $#@%^@ ing hair out sometimes.. But what do you do, he's been a winning coach over the last 10 years, very winning coach... But likes river dancing on the goal-line.... Here he is calling a goal-line play!

How much of a homer can you be to say that play shouldn't even have been reviewed? He really need to take his BS to the 49ers team board

Niners board is pretty dead. I go to Niners Nation to hang out with Niner fans.

I was talking before the spike. But yeah I don't get why the offense was completely unaware of the clock.

Shouldn't have even needed that play, more or less the refs to do their job. Had so many chances and Wilson didn't get it done. And that botched play inside the 1y taking a delay of game and going outside the 5y. That was what killed them. Botched ref calls is just life in the football.

Russell is great. Hall of Famer already, IMO, so there's nothing he can do to make me not think he's great. He's been clutch many times. A couple unlucky plays or mistakes don't undo his greatness.

Yep. Packers as well though.

Packers get HFA if the correct call is made.

Now they likely have to return to Santa Clara if they plan on getting to the superbowl
